Hiya, the garden at the front of the house has gone wild since all the rain, me too still lots I want to get done, you never know we might still get some good weather, thanks for watching and have a lovely week🦋
Thanks Christine, what a lovely thing to say. The smallholding is always ongoing a full time job really, I do love it. You'll probably see me wrapped up in the garden doing bits and pieces in the winter. Lovely to have you here, take care too enjoy the weekend 🙂🌱🌈
That was fab. Love seeing your girls. They are all gorgeous. The little cockerel is cute as. Do you put the big girls away when you go out - just wonder if a fox could jump in over the chicken wire. Even in the rain your garden looks lovely. Mags
Hi Jackie 🙋 loved this video and all the hens look really happy 👍 l belive the Rhode island hens are very popular and are good layers, how many eggs do you get a week from them ? I'm always looking for fresh eggs when lm out and about, used to get them from a small holding 👌 but they packed in keeping hens as the fox was helping it's self now and again.Oh the Lavender Bantams are so pretty, lve only ever seen them at County shows,it's a real eye opener as there are sooo many different types, but l do have a soft spot for Bantams, ours were a deep red/russet colour and very tame.lm of again yapping away hahahaha but yeh love chickens 💕Thanks for sharing and taking the time to video this page,Your beans are looking fabulous 👌 there in the pouring rain.We have had some thieving going on at our allotments, not us but four plots up from us and one greenhouse was completely stripped of all there tomatoes, bad news,so we are all keeping a close eye on things. All the very best 🌱 🌱 🌱
Hi Joyce, they lay every day so about 20 eggs a week from 3 hens, really good. Theres loads of different types its a pity they all lay eggs otherwise I would get a few more🤣. Thats terrible, the thieving ••••••••, I was reading in the paper about a elderly man that grew veg for him and his wife and half of his plot was dug up, even the potatoes, can you put a dummy camera high up down there? anyway take care my friend have a lovely week 😀💃💚🥕
I'm sitting outside in the rain under a table umbrella in the rain and it's like I'm right there with you.
I thought you always had a lot of heat over there Lynda, hope things are going well🌻
We've had a couple of dry days here in the Midlands, so at least I could get the grass cut - still got tons to do. The chickens are adorable!

Hi, these aren't Rhode Island Reds.
They are lavender pekins
@@thegonepotties I was talking about the brown hens that you referred to as Rhode Island Reds. They're ISA browns.
@@colmmurphy1009 thanks Colm I didn’t realise :)
@@colmmurphy1009 I’ll have to get some Rhode Island’s, I’ve taken it out of the title 👍
