Great tray! I used to do charcoal portraits, but since I got macular degeneration, I can't even draw, but I thoroughly enjoy watching other people draw or make reain tetrays! Thanks for sharing!❤
Glass will begin to bow with weight on it, like loading it up with bottles of liquid, etc., or leaning on it. If your table has a metal frame under it with gapping, you might try stacking felt in between the gap on the side it tends to bow/flex, and maybe put a very slight convex/bow upwards to counteract the bow downwards. Also, if your floor is weak in that particular area, weight will also become a factor in bowing. I kind of disliked the tray at first, but then you added the stickers and it came to life 😊 🤗
OMG Marva that is just spectacular , I keep thinking of the Dragon as a Time Traveller. When you first unmolded the tray, I thought gee it needs something to cover some of the areas. You did awesome girl, so much talent that I'm glad you're getting use of it. Love Love Love it 🤟💌
I think you could use the plain copper side with a tattoo. I might do that. Or imbed a bunch of shells on it. Cover in clear resin. I like the plain side. You're going to have a bunch of stuff on it anyway. I think. Spray paint it? LOL. Just some ideas.
I think I've told you a few times now. Translucent always goes first for the crackle effect. The Translucent needs to be under the mica so the mica can move. If you put mica first, then the mica just sticks to the mold and can't move. Happy 4th of July! Jesus is coming soon!
@marvelous4363 Do one pour of translucent on your tray. Then pour one pour of mica mixture. Then you can do a push of clear. If your center doesn't close then you can get a pipet and suck out some clear. Trays are difficult because they are so big. Maybe practice on coasters. When I do a tray, I go around the outside instead of pouring in the center. That way you get at least crackle on the edges. I'm not an expert. Maybe do a RUclips search and watch others. I do remember you did it once. But I know it's easy to forget if you don't do it often.
I love the colours and the dragon. It looks great! ❤

Happy 4th of July too you also😊
Measure your mold first. I have had some do that, table level then mold wasn’t. You may want to check that first.
Nice save, however, I didnt think the tray was bad at all, but we are our own worst critics. ❤
