The ear flaps on a dragon are often referred to as “earflaps”. These are the protective, scale-covered structures that extend from the sides of a dragon’s head, resembling flaps or fins.
Nice new mold! Loved the dragon mold you had before, but this one looks quite good. I would have told you about that one line on the wing missing gold if I could talk to you in a live or something. :)
I am a proud owner of the 1st generation dragon mold. I see you made some changes, especially around the head, horns and front shoulders. No offense, but I like the 1st generation mold better. More detail on the head and with the mouth open, showing the teeth, it looks so realistic! I do love the black cherry powder. Might have to get me some of that! I can confirm that it takes 3 days for the resin to set and 30 minutes to get the dragon out of the mold. End result? Worth every second. Thanks Julie!
