Treating Out-of-Date UNITE Foreign Models as Missing Components | Creo 11

- Creo 11 has improved the behavior of Unite Technology when dealing with out-of-date foreign wrapper models opened with Unite Technology when the foreign model's respective Collaboration Extension is not available by representing them as missing components. This will reduce confusion for users so it is more clear that they are not getting the latest representation of a foreign model.
This enhancement introduces the new configuration option, intf3d_open_outofdate_unite. "Yes" retrieves the un-updated wrapper; no treats un-updated wrappers as missing components, and No_With_Warning will give a warning alongside treating un-updated wrappers as missing components.
Creo has Collaboration Extensions for NX, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, and Inventor, and you can avoid dealing with out-of-date models by using these extensions. Learn more about designing in multiple CAD systems here: ptc.co/bxy930rqE4c
