I don’t get how grown adults can give so much passes to Conrad. He’s the one acting like a child the most - like leaving college out of nowhere, not picking up his phone for days on his own brother making him worried sick, keeping another huge secret from him and literally not being able to communicate one single thing normally. For Jeremiah this was the boiling point - he’s had enough of Conrad - the lying about their moms cancer, his moping all of last summer, him begging to get with the girl Jere also loves, then Jeremiah watching him fuck it up as he’s taking care of their mother, the the whole disappearing thing, the way he behaved about the house all condescending towards Jeremiah and Belly and finally this, where again he’s making the decision for everyone. That was Jeremiah’s last straw and he lashed out, which is the normal reaction of anyone with feelings. It’s not only because he’s put Conrad on a pedestal, it’s also because he’s realising he was wrong about his brother the entire time.
For real, like Conrad always telling everyone to grow up when he's the one who needs to grow up. Also how many times did he hurt Belly already? And how he lied to Belly that Jere was fine when he know he's not. He's struggling alone managing their mom's medical bill and senior year while watching their mom's health decline and he was so inconsiderate of Jere, he literally went there just to ask Jere' blessing and just left after? He's so annoying and he needs therapy fr.
YESYESYES! to everything you said! as the youngest sibling, i can relate to jere and how easy it is to be overlooked and his feelings too. but a lot of the times the youngest siblings mature the fastest bc we see what our older siblings went through and we may look up to them til a certain point. jere had every right to pop off. its been boiling since s1. conrads been popping on everyone the past 4, episodes and everyone just treats it as if its him grieving. but when he knew about his moms cancer, he LITERALLY tried to avoid her at all costs last szn until she made him be around her. when jere shared his concern about their mom, conrad lied to him. with belly… conrad never asked jere how he felt, but said its hurts not say he loves her… you had her 6-8 months..ans still never said it but expected her to know from your first kiss?? also jere going to supply trip was valid and i saw it a slight test to see how belly would be. she asked him 12hrs prior why wouldnt he kiss her and spent most of the previous day trying to get him to kiss her. i dont blame him for wanting to see how she would be with the both of them. thats why he mentioned bonrads moment at the store, he knows how to communicate and wants to see theres anything he needed to know when he walked in(which was literally at the end when con took the crown off- which that in itself is…questionable)
That beach scene was so disjointed one minute she’s drinking in the house and the next she’s at the beach and conrad spontaneously appears to save her

I still think, which I know this isn’t real life. But I honestly think that half of the house would be the sons, because the sisters shared it. So wouldn’t half of the house go to the sons bc they would of inherited from their mother?
