    Man, they should be ashamed of cutting away to all that other footage during "Helter Skelter". That was a legendary performance that, as they themselves said, would never happen again. The least they could've done is just let us hear the whole performance uninterrupted.

    I remember that soundtrack being played all over the place during the summer of 94. It was the perfect link between grunge and britpop, just after Kurt passed, and before Liam sang "Backbeat, the word is on the street".

    wow i can't even imagine it. i mean these guys were all well established in their own rights, but then get to play the Beatles, what an honor it must have been. not to mention a lot of fun. regardless they pulled it off perfectly, both here and more importantly in the movie. Backbeat was an awesome movie. i say awesome in all the 80s meaning..well done gentlemen. very well done indeed. wish i could have seen you guys live.

    I think this is where I started to hate Will Smith...the second they cut to him in the middle of the greatest cover song I've ever seen.
    BTW saw this on TV when it happened and my jaw dropped. Sure you can say Soul Asylum was Wynona Ryder-rock but even Dave Pirner was good up there. It was like...this mixture of all these 90s indie icons with different styles completely kicking fucking ass. I looked for this clip for like 10 years before someone finally put it on youtube.

    Entonces éste fue el primer supergrupo que existió. Debo admitir que no los tenía muy presentes porque era muy pequeña, pero porsupuesto que conozco las bandas a las cuales pertenecen, crecí con ellas, y aunque algunas ya no están, (hasta el día de hoy las amo).
    Una presentación muy noventera; qué buenas épocas tuvimos.

    Should be nice, If MTV can do 1 blue ray of this concert...and without the actual & final generic ! Only the music ! In this futur blue-ray concert , let see the faces of the audience when They hear the lyrics etc. In this band if They were not subject of that crowd , ...They should have their own cameraman filming from the stage and pointing the peoples sit.
