It is hard to keep it simple and good these days but that is their "secret" and thank god for a real band that really plays their instruments and have a vibe that is hard to find these days - keep on rockin boyz
I hate this band is no longer together..please come back guys.. You were like a breath of Fresh air..just what today's music need. GIFTED is the word. Love your stuff!
There dressed up to look the part, originals always better than a copy!!!!!!!!!! They defo don't make there own desicions, there told how to eat sleep and shit.. There manufactured
I know they look manufactured and maybe you think that they are some sort of puppets but I don't see it that way. I think they've grown up in an atmosphere that it's very old style and the influences of their families have made them look what they look like and the style that they have is because of that. I think they have decided and they clearly defend that they don't do this for the fame and that they don't want to be a "boy band" and I believe it.
***** you can't "manufacture" musicianship, passion and soul.....you can manufacture entertainers, our culture does it every day on BS talent TV shows.....these guys are musicians. There is a huge difference between musicians and entertainers!
What a great cover. well done lads. Lovely inlay on that fretboard. As probabely the only poster to this vid that can play the flute part to this song I think this version stacks right up. Alan Wilson will be no more upset than Buddy Holly hearing the Bo Diddley beat the Stones put on 'Not Fade Away' Those that can do, those that can't, teach. And those that can't teach, criticize. .
Great cover but I had to laugh because they look and dress like Jeff Beck and Keith Relf of the Yardbirds circa 1966. And when I said "laugh" I meant not at them but from the nostalgia they bring me.
andyg3 these guys are aged 16-18 at the time of this video - they started gigging when they were 13-15 years old and grabbed the attention of Elton John, who signed them to his record label. I believe they worked very hard for that.
It's "Cus there's a brand new game, and I don't wanna play.." Manufactured boy band trash.. Alan Wilson would have committed suicide again had he seen this 40 years after he wrote it..
Tell that to John Lee Booker who he also stole it from and said thank you, you're the greatest harmonica player I've ever met btw. There is a difference..
Yep. They are going some where INCREDIBLY fast! Signed to Elton Johns Recording company, a debut album that is tearing it up, traveling all over the world, Played the Glastonbury Festival, on Dave Letterman, and are REAL musicians as opposed to computer generating and voice modulating their sound. Real music, real playing, REAL GOOD! They are the real deal. Go Google them and actually do some research before pinning them unfairly with a label that doesn't fit them AT ALL!
I am 57 year old and these kids impress the hell outta me! Going to see them Monday March 24 at Subterranean in Chicago.
These kids have some real talent and I'm so glad their a band their keeping rock and roll alive and doing a great job at it
Awww I love these lads. They are such amazing musicians at such young ages. Also they are from Ireland!!! (where I'm from)
Voll cool, mal wirklich eine ganz andere Version. Bin echt geplättet. Hat mich voll angemacht !!!
Nice job by those guys! I'm very grateful that they started to take being a band seriously.

Watch their live stuff... These kids have some real talent...
You said a mouthful!
Hope they'll play songs of this kind they used to play
I hope you to upload their "what a shame" behind the scenes video on RUclips...
The original is from 1928 by Henry Thomas. Canned Heat covered it also…
It's not Canned Heat who wrote this tune. It's someone in 1928, but I forget the name.
You definitely have no idea if you think they are "manufactured".

Either or!!!!! There shite.
Right on. :)
Sounds so good
Are you deaf ?

unreal
Have these poor kids ever heard the original song?
Great cover but I had to laugh because they look and dress like Jeff Beck and Keith Relf of the Yardbirds circa 1966. And when I said "laugh" I meant not at them but from the nostalgia they bring me.
cool
Fecking murdered a beautiful song !
Y'all ain't covering the Original..., you're covering the version from Kitty Daisy & Lewis...! Lol lol lol lol lol lol lol
not like...LOVE!
More like Kitty Daisy and Lewis than Canned Heat
They're probably as far from a boyband as you can get!
The song was done ny some black American southern gentlemen.
Canned heat... lol
something certainly doesnt seem right.
seem a bit young to have worked their arse off through the ranks like most other bands

Oh well.
You can't manufacture this!
creative music or art can´t be manufactered
Why not ?
Look at them now
Okay but I prefer the Canned Heat original.

@@juanramongarciadelrio2204 I'd forgotten I written that 6 years ago! Sounds good! Still prefer the Canned heat version to The Strypes though.
I like the strypes but this is kind of a knockoff of the kitty daisy and Lewis cover and its sang the same way too

I'm sure Henry Thomas turned in his grave when he heard how Alan changed the lyrics and took credit for his song.
Tell that to John Lee Booker who he also stole it from and said thank you, you're the greatest harmonica player I've ever met btw. There is a difference..
If you're gonna name drop you could of at least used Texas Slim. Being a good harp player doesn't give free creative license to steal tunes.
Manufactured shit.. These guys are going nowhere fast!
