Master Wang is great at many style (forms) of Taijiquan, especially Sun Style. I was very blessed to be able to learn from him the intricacies of the Sun Style (along with Yang, Xingy-i, Pakua, Push Hands, Fajing, and many other principles). It helped me transcend my understanding of using the principles of Taiji for self defense without falling into the normal kickboxing view of fighting (plus with others of Longfei; my instructor Dave Nicholson, Li Deyin, Simon & Dick Watson)...Mike Graves

This is one of the closest to the form of Sun Tai Chi my master teaches - thank you VERY much. I see that my master is in Hebei Province so that explains the similarity.

Beautiful demonstration, great flow. Is Master Wang Yanji still teaching and where? Its Sad that the real Sun style is ignored and replaced by the 73 Competition form instead. Much thanks for the demonstration video. Regards, Alex

    請問有看過孫前輩著(太極拳學)好好地更正吧。現在是舞蹈表演吧,真是掉了前輩的提攜指點非常可惜把孫式獨有的東西全消失了!

A good point you raise here. And from that I can tell you have not Seen master Wang many times in person to realise the difference between moves for the sake of teaching a form sequence and him applying and performing taichi in person. But yes, you wouldn't normally move your arms detached from the core of your movement so it is obvious the purpose of the video is to demonstrate to beginners ( people wanting to learn the Sun sequence) rather than demonstrating master Wangs own martial prowess. The taichi element is something you have to find within your own practise if you are at a level to know what you are looking for,.
