New Mod7 owner. Fit and finish awesome! Love the design, and all the features work, but takes some fiddling practice to find and connect the goggle on top as well as the front. The goggle release toggle's works better when both sides are lifted simultaneously, and takes one finger at the center goggle, then, 1,2,3 clicks and its back into place. The prism lens is great! I purchased a Large for my pumpkin head , and it seems a bit big even with the BOA tightened all the way, so better to go to a Oakley store and try one on first. (MOD7 Not in stock typically, but lots of MOD5's to try on. They should fit the same...). Super comfortable fit with a skull cap. Love the cut out on the ear pads. Would I buy it again? a resounding yes! Is it a cool hemet? F*#k yes! Are the features a bit gimmicky? Perhaps, but what would these design engineers do if they weren't trying to make things better!

I want to get one myself, my head circumference is 57cm and I should be wearing a medium ( my usual size). But when I put it on I can feel pressure on both size of my head. No issues with the large , except It feels a bit loose and looks kinda big on my head. I’m torn because i usually wear glasses and it would be great for when I’m just doing green runs with my kid who is just learning how to ski.

Ok so I got this and managed to break it with my very first use - before I even got to the slopes! When trying to fit the goggles one of the clips flew off, and I managed to lose the spring inside which makes the button work. Couldn’t find it anywhere! Then I realised that what actually happened is the small retainer piece of plastic which keeps the spring in place somehow managed to flip out of its position and damn me I can’t get it back in, it’s impossible. Just as impossible is finding a replacement spring the right size.
So I returned it as faulty. The whole thing appears far too fiddly and prone to breakage for the money. I got a mod 5 and separate Oakley goggles instead. I would have gone for one of the other integrated helmets but I do like the prizm lenses they are awesome

If you think you heard click but were wrong, then your visor can be found in the snow somewhere along the chair lift together with tons of ski poles :) PS. I tried this helmet and found it very uncomfortable, ignoring the overengineered aspect of it.

Very nice informative video, but that second camera angle is not necessary

Don’t buy this. My goggles broke and Oakley doesn’t sell replacements. Spent 500 dollars on it and can’t even use goggles now

You can still use regular goggles with it, it’s basically a mod5 with an integrated lens. So worst case you have a very expensive mod5 but I am sure Oakley will release replacements?

There’s a clear lens and a pink or blue lense. I got mine through the military site with the pink and clear. I may return mine though as it’s not very comfortable. I only paid $270 so it’s not as bad, but I’m not impressed either.

@@jmm2226 I' am not impressed with the design either but with oakley it's all about style I can't find a better looking helmet out there although the helmet has some minor issues it's completely badass.

Never buy Oakley Mod 7, or any integrated helmet from Oakley!!
I don't know about other integrated helmets but I have bought an Oakley Mod 7 with $331. Its price ranges from $331-$550. Everything was perfect until something went wrong with the visor. They have the magnet connectors attached to both side of the visor and they DON'T HAVE A REPLACEMENT. They have shields replacement on their website but those does not come with the connectors. The connectors are very flimsy but you have to use it very often, so it is very easy to be broken. For me, it breaks down after about 20 days. I have contacted their customer service, and they have confirmed that there is no replacement for the connectors.
Let me put it another way, you will need to discard your entire helmet (worth $331-$500) if:
    You lost your visor
Breaks the connectors during normal use
Breaks the connectors after you purchased a replacement shield and trying to replace it
If they keep doing business like this, I would suggest avoiding Oakley!
