I would really like a video explaining HOW it works. Obviously it's using some kind of fluorescence based technique, probably based on LEDs given the size of the device, but there's got to be much more going on than that. Pulsed light phosphorescence decay times? Multiple wavelengths? ...

I would really like a video explaining how much one costs.

Cost is just under $6000. Don’t know if it includes the pink diamond software.

In today's world this is essential when travelling to mining cities...

Probably the same I and II Type Differentiation with some Special measuring Points tô increase the certainly.
But surely its not 100 percent

It's very portable but it is NOT 100% accurate. The accuracy is actually the main problem with it. I used to use this as a third check after running melee through the De Beers AMS2 and D-Secure.
Edit: It was the J-Smart not the D-Secure

Can you tell me wich machine is the best for diamond testing?

    • @touchmycamerathroughthefence

@@AhmedAli-pq4gd The De Beers AMS2 and J-Smart were the most reliable in my experience. The AMS2 is more comprehensive and can analyze more stones than the J-Smart, but the AMS2 also requires a humidity controlled room to prevent static electricity effecting the machine. The AMS2 takes about 15 minutes per batch so it allows the user to work on other things while it's analyzing. The company I worked for used the AMS2 first, and then the J-Smart as a two part screening process for melee. The GIA iD100 was only used if a stone failed the other two machines. I would recommend the AMS2 but it's twice as expensive as the J-Smart. (GIA GG)

@@AhmedAli-pq4gd De Beers AMS2 is better for loose melee any size. J-Smart is better for larger mounted diamonds.
