- DJ Vibes and MC Livelee playing a happy hardcore set at Helter Skelters night called "Decadance" at The Sanctuary, Milton Keynes, UK.
Recorded live on Saturday the 16th of October 1999, and ripped from my tape pack.
3000+ ravers under one roof!
"Decadance" was the second to last event Helter Skelter put on at The Sanctuary, the last one being New Years eve's event "The Millenium Jam"- Decadance was billed as Helter Skelters 10th birthday event, and was an absolutely wikkid night! Probably the best Skelter of the year.
Vibes rinses out some classic happy hardcore in this set, and Livelee's on top form as usual!
After 3 years of my channel being active and having uploaded 450+ videos, this set is still the most popular of them all! Move slower never went to a rave in this decade as I was 7.8.9 but never raved so much in my life x🎉😢😂😊

I was 14 in 1999. Never made it to a rave but had many tapes like this (dreamscape, raindance, helter skelter etc) and used to have them on my walkman at school. Such good memories growing up listening to this, having my step dad threaten to smash my hifi if I didn't turn it down lol.
I was 15 but same, caught a few from 16 onwards though

Can't beat these tuuunes, I've listened to them my whole life since I was a kid, I'm now 42 and live in the US South Carolina and I blast them in the house and the jeep 🚙. The looks I get from the neighbors and passers by 😂😂. The music of today is pure shite, I can't listen to it, utter shit hurts my ears l. Long live hardcore ❤

I actually worked for the sanctuary bar supervisor and lived literally 5mins bike ride up the rd 😊😊😊😅 so not only did I get paid 90.00 minus NI and tax per event. I got free entry. Free drink all night. Got smashed every event on pills &base and afterward just a quick 5 mind ride home at sillloclock in the morning 😮😮😮😮😊 best job ever aged 20.

The artist that did all those 90's flyers was a guy called Steve "Pez" Perry. The guys phenomenal. An online search for "Pez rave artwork" brings up tons of examples :-)

Born hardcore and for ever I will be hardcore just this shitty ass world has and will never have the love and fully sick music like this ever again. I did for so long believe hardcore will never die but unfortunately it has this world has forgotten where music has evolved from. There is no where in Australia where music of this quality is played raves of the epic highs of the the 90’s and early 2000’s no mc’s to take us higher. Sorry for being such a happy raver . Lover of life ever day comes with fun joy and a mad party has turned to nothing but shit and makes me think why the fuck . Lol sorry all for the buzz kill but please tell me coming from a mad raver in the 90’s there is any love in this world. I even started mixing hard again playing sick tracks was gonna hit clubs but then . Why why bother these people don’t appreciate music like this no more so why bother .. it is a sad day for me
