I feel like a tier list isn't the best way to cover leg mods. Since most aren't necessarily direct upgrades but rather side grades; it would make more sense to explain how each changes the play style. showing how each one can benefit or negatively effect a specific play style would be extremely helpful.
Fair few legend mods are straight up downgrades, and should be presented as such. *looks at Kleber legend mod* Others just simply do so little over the stock mods that they aren't worth the RP. *Looks at Republique legend mod* And yet others just feel like they are in the wrong slot, *Looks at Worcester legend mod*

@@bent404 To be fair, that role isn't a great role for a DD to be playing in the first place if it doesn't get an exhaust smoke like the Italians do. Making the standard gun-boat DD build just kind of better. Like I'm not saying it can't work, just that it's not great and is a downgrade over the stock ship.
Thanks for the great video! If possible I think it would be super helpful if you did a video and went through the maps and show which are the best islands for positioning cruisers since that’s something I’m struggling with as a relatively new player.
It's quite complicated, if I'm not mistaken I've seen a simple general map positioning for every battleship divided by their country once,it think it's from Yuro's video but i forgot which one
Love my DM with the legendary mod. Just a great all around ship that is pretty much always useful to the team. DM w/ both AA captain skills is enough of a pain that CVs will sometimes avoid you....if you're not a streamer that is.

I have a skill issue called being too aggressive for the DM, so i compensate by playing heavy cruisers like the napoli or alaska Suddenly I dont get bow citadeled

Keep your front mast behind an island and you can use your front turrets without being seen. I get 150k damage games regularly using this tactic. Good luck. Keep in mind, planes can spot you though so hug islands tightly.
Yeh Des Moines can rack some nasty damage and yeh I have played the Worcester ,minotaur and Jinan lines and learned through the hard way that islands r crucial especially for no torp cruiser lines like Worcester and DM
Honestly I have to recommend the Pan-American cruiser line over the American lines for people to get comfortable with the game. Yes, it has a gimmick, but that gimmick keeps you in a match for so much longer so you can better learn how to play cruisers the right way. San Martin is practically as tanky as a DM but has much shorter range, so learning how to use that tankiness and good map positioning to get in close makes the line a fantastic albeit harsh teacher on how to play cruisers correctly.

Worcester with its LU is literally the game's ultimate support cruiser, since it literally gives you Superintendent for free (which stacks with the Commander skill) and a reduced cooldown on all consumables to boot! With Enhanced Consumables and Superintendent, you get 6 charges of DFAA, and 5 of everything else. And with an AA build and a CV present...Oh, baby...
It depends on the ship. There’s a certain leeway for how far the highest point can be from the center before it defaults to the exact midpoint. Ships that have skewed tall points like Izmail and Izumo have their midpoints at the center but others like Moskva, Kremlin, Halland, etc have their tallest superstructure within that range. It’s especially noticeable on full forward ships where the point you get spotted on is so far away from the superstructure’s tallest point.
Do not go on us line. They are the skill base ship. High skill, highly rewarding kinda ship. But yea des moines is so fun when everything works out. Ridiculous ship in cruiser would be petropavlosk and hindenberg, this ship would pen even bb. Des moines is so hard for you to get pen. So if you new i would recommend go on cruiser line of germany or russia.
I think with the changes to CVs coming taking the AA upgrades will be less useful/necessary. I cant wait for you to rank the Legendary mods, should be interesting.
I can't imagine giving up extra DPM or Range for what I'm likely already running in slot 4. Really no reason to stack both, and no reason to run anything but Prop mod in slot 4. Where Des Moines already has a more than good enough rudder shift time, and is a Cruiser so DCSM2 does very little. Like I don't doubt it's helpful, just not as helpful as 12% more DPM, or 16% more range. I mean you are leaving ether 40k DPM or 2.5km of extra range on the table. I don't know, just doesn't seem worth it to me. Even more so now that it's locked behind RP. Back when it was just a mission, sure, I could see getting it and trying it out, but now? Not really.
DM legmod gives it Minotaur acceleration and even better rudder shift/turning circle. Dm with both rudder mods still turns like a weighted brick (not vermont), and if you're trying to speed juke BB shots it doesn't slow down or speed up enough in time. Even island camping is much easier with the legmod. If you want range, then take spotter plane. If you want DPM, play Salem. The legmod in general will just make it easier for you to live and be more effective for your team.
@@atpyro7920 Spotter over radar is never worth it, hence the potential use of range mod, and as mentioned you're likely already running prop mod, aka the same accel modification as Mino. Sure the legend mod lets you accel faster than Mino, but you give up so much for that. And if you really want the extra rudder shift, you could always just give up slot 5 for Steering Gears mod 2, and have 40% better rudder shift. I just can't see it being worth the RP. I mean it's basically a full 2x reset worth of RP. That is just my opinion though, if you enjoy it go ahead, I'll stick with reload mod and just run prop in slot 4.
why dont you play destroyers... play daring, play z52 play kleber play ragnar play samalland!.... there are lots of powerful and fun dds that I want to see you play :)
My God CVs are total broken OP ! In a BB you can do nothing to miss dodge or mitigate the freaking torps ! got focused by CV and 3 passes from both sides and I'm dead from 3/4 health! Didn't even have time to turn before he hit me from the other side ! WG what the hell are you doing to the game ! Ruining it ! Nerf the freaking CVs and subs while your at it ! Bout ready to delete the game, premium account, all tier 10 ships everything! So sick of the torp spam with NO counters that work.
What I find annoying with these videos is watching you have opposing force that just let you farm them down. I can use your same tactics, and the enemy team will out number me 5 to 1 and just push through. I'll get ZERO support from my team and be taken out moments into the game. And this is just some times, it's every time. Every game is never the game you are showing. If I DD, the side of the map I spawn will be radar + cvs + subs and same thing. Out within moments. The only time that doesn't happen is if I decide right away that I'm going in to actually do my job. Sit back and hope I can let teammates soak for a bit and then start in and hopefully win the flank. Of course 90% of time when we win a flank, the other side of the map has been rolled and we're in 4-9 ship scenario. Game is just not fun. It's purpose built to support passive game play.

DM might be the only cruiser who hasn't lost its place. Not a nose-peeker anymore because of all the overmatch but still a menace.

It has the same range as a DM and is SIGNIFICANTLY more tanky than DM

You should run hydro instead of Def AA. Much more utility and team support with the hydro especially against subs.
