I am not going to have time to film and produce the turbo burn down time lapse video. I have done additional testing in temps ranging from 86F to 98F. I get about 3-5 minutes of seemingly consistent output on Turbo Spot followed by an aggressive ramp-down. The steady state lasts over 1.5 hours after which I turned the light off. It seems very close to the High output level and is likely the steady state for several hours, consistent with the published burn-down chart. Next up is a summary of my nearly three years with the HP30R V2 followed by the detail comparison of the HP30RV2 and the HP35R. Note that burn-down chart is available at fenixlighting.com. Thank you.

Fenix, Nitecore, and Acebeam are probably the top three brands I use in night SAR at least as far as headlamps, long-throw, and free lights are concerned. If you are a photographer in Italy, please send me a link to some of your work. Thank you.
The 'best' is going to be dependent on an individual's specific use cases and how they feel about proprietary battery packs. For just downrange punch, the HP35R is clearly the winner.
That's a very interesting suggestion. If I took that one on, though, it would be most appropriate for the SAR Team - the private community on the channel. I don't think it would do all that well on the public section of the channel. Thanks again.
