Right, after watching your video I’m now going to give it a go with my new laptop and memory card. Glad I read the comments as I will be detaching the battery first. Nice video and you can’t beat a bit of Bob Marley playing in the background! I hope my ham fists don’t fail me.
does the memory ram have to be the same that the laptop has? or can I replace the ram with 8GB ddr4 2400 different manufacturer? mine is SK Hynix but I'm looking other option cheaper

Informational vid! Also does the OS automatically accept the new RAM module or do you need to configure some settings?
When you install up to a 16Gb Module the laptop should automatically recognize the new RAM without modifying the Bios.
Ok thanks
before doing anything you should unplug the battery
Haha I was thinking the same thing, I backed it the vid up because I thought I missed him disconnecting it.
Otherwise good job, just remember to unplug that battery and hold the power button a few seconds before you start the upgrade.
I need to add a note to detach battery first. Good point.
After adding ram, my laptop won't boot up. Why way to resolve this?
Sometimes RAM can be defective. I would google help with RAM and "not rebooting after installing RAM". Try reseating the RAM, Maybe.
Do you have a M2 solid state drive in there?
easydoz1 No M2 in this machine but it should not impact the RAM installation or conflict with the recommended RAM. Update your OS and it should be fine.
