I am doing shorts last few months, and the most important thing is to have some kind of strategy. People now like expressive content, so make those and post them consistently (after posting something I usually use a bit of Famester, so it is easier for my content to go viral). It is also important to watch how many times you post something, how much you create, so you could possibly avoid burn out...

You have good points in your videos. But you're always hawking, overpriced, crappy "tools" which turn your videos into commercials, rather than helpful advice to other creators. If you're going to recommend an overpriced product, at least offer a free (or cheaper) alternative. Because then you'd be offering us genuine help, rather than attempting to fleece us for some company that probably isn't paying you that much anyway.
I agree, especially with the first website (SubMagic) being flagged "suspicious" by ArcSight threat intelligence - virustotal. This wasn't genuine help either as many people already know what makes a good short is it being flashy rather than the worse examples shown in the video. I strongly agree with this comment

This is also what made me start disliking these types of videos from this channel, like yeah, get your bag, but it really annoys me that he doesn't specify at all in the first part of the video that he's using a paid tool & receiving benefits from posting about it.
I can edit these types of captions and it doesn’t take that long. I’ll always choose manual over having to pay a 3rd party tool to do what I can already do.
The only use for this is if you’re a bigger channel who is constantly pushing out shorts. Then that time save becomes more valuable, and you can probably afford to pay for some shit like this.
The road to success is paved with many failures and learning experiences.

I think adding words to the video definitely helps since I have a small channel and I posted a RUclips short with this similar trick. I’m already at 1.7k views which’s is the most I have ever gotten. I’d say this works really well 😊

Spot on with the tips! I've been experimenting with text overlays and scene changes, but adding boost app social into the mix for crafting engaging captions and bios has been a real game-changer.
I am sick and tired of the shorts algorithm. I decided to post consistently this year, started from january, posted everyday and almost all my videos would get average of 1k/2k views, then a few days into february it stopped. Like the views totally stopped. Instead of getting a thousand views I'll get stuck at 1/2 views. How is that even possible? unless there is something wrong with the algorithm. I studied my yt analytics and realized that my videos are not showing up on shorts feed. I am also not getting any views from browse feature, i.e, youtube is not even showing my videos to my subscribers on their homepage. Again on march I started getting some views, 500 on average. That lasted for 10/15 days and then the same thing happened again. Again stuck at 1/2 views. It's almost April, and I am still not getting any views, spending many hours writing, filming and then editing, but then nobody is watching. I am sick of this.

YOOO this is really op. our videos went from getting like 10 - 200 views to getting like 1 - 2k views, which is not nessecarilly viral, but IT FREAKING got us more views by 10 - 20 TIMES THE AVERAGE. thanks for this advice

Davinci resolve is you're just starting out and on a budget. Mainly because it's free :)
@@Marcus-Jones DaVinci is not free.. it costs $295 for a lifetime license, whereas Adobe Premiere Pro costs $263 on yearly subscription... cost-wise, i think DaVinci is the clear winner... but, which one does better at video editing and encoding in 4K HDR??

Hey Marcus! I just recently found your channel and have been studying your videos. I have a channel with 270,000 subs roughly but views are pretty dead. Consistency has always been somewhat of an issue for me as I have a fairly full schedule.
Do you see any other areas of improvement I could take to regain some traction on my channel. I’ve watched my videos kind of slide from 60k views per video on average to 30k now averaging sub 10k views in the last 3 years. Any help is appreciated!
Marcus, if you had a brand and wanted to promote it. Would growing a fake subscriber base on different platforms be an easier way to get investment from people?
NOt if those people are smart. They will should check your analytics and engagement and should be able tot tell if you bought fake followers... Also, buying fake followers and then trying to get investment is a bit morally and legally questionable...

Every time when I post on shorts, it always says no views I don’t know how to get views I’ll post the best video I’ve ever made and still says no views like no one clicks over there I put on trending sounds and everything and still I have no views I bought it like 30+ shorts and then all says no views I don’t know what to do if I make a new account sometimes I’ll get viewed but sometimes I won’t. It’s like a gamble.
