    I was just about to type that your kid is so calm for the first time and then she cried… but she is really a good girl. Thanks for making this video

    Thank you for sharing. Your instructions and demonstrations helped me to understand much better than the owners manual. Also, you have a beautiful family. 🙂

    Thank you for the excellent instructions. As a grandmother I have not used or purchased car seats in a very long time and the instructions that come in the box are confusing. The video really helped!

    I have this car seat as an extra and can not for the life of me tighten it enough with the tethers so it doesn't move. Anyone else have this problem?

      After I hooked up the car seat I used the car's seatbelt as well and strung it thru the back of the car seat where the two bottom hooks go through. It definitely helped!!

      that's what i started doing although i have read that it's not usually safest to use both but sometimes car seats recommend it @@jessej95

      @@BratticusFinch I use the tethers and the seatbelt to latch it in. It's still pretty loose but better than before. I have always read not to use both; and to use either one or the other...but i don't know what else to do.

    Just wondering- does this car seat not require the seat belt to also be buckled in? Thanks!!

      Not always the case most are safe to use unlill 40lbs with the latch system only then at 40lbs you remove the latch system and use the car seatbelts

    My son is almost 13months old, around 25lbs, and 31inches long. Is it safe for him to use this car seat forward facing?

    • @How2Review
      @How2Review  11 месяцев назад +2

      13 months is fine. That was exactly the same time we used it facing forward for our daughter .However, ensure that the car seat is safely secured before doing so.

      It is absolutely not fine! Rear facing up until 3 is recommended. 13 months is to young and in the event of an accident your child can be internally decapitated as bones don't finish ossification until age 5 or 6. Please look into it. Forward face at age 2 if you must!

      Not fine at all, Your child needs to be able hold his head steady. I am an MSN, RN, FNP and I wouldn’t recommend front facing car seat until 2 years old or weight around 40LB. Child younger than 2 and lighter than 30Lb will be at risk of getting seriously injured in a front facing car seat. Current guidelines suggest using rear facing until 2 years old and/or 40LB.

    I think your Baby girl is way to small for front facing car seat.

      Hi,
      I did research to see the appropriate age for this car seat. Safety is definitely one of my top priorities 😊👍.

    • @nicolecapellan3276
      @nicolecapellan3276 8 месяцев назад +2

      She is definitely way to young to forward face! 2 is the minimum! Her bones are not done ossifying and she can be internally decapitated in the event of an accident. Do research! This is not safe and depending on your state it's illegal.

      My son's about the same size.. 33 inches long and 23lbs. He's too big for his rear facing baby car seat and the buckels cut into his neck. This is a rather cheaper car seat, but we all can't afford $300+ at the moment. He's a lot more comfortable in this seat. But try stringing the car's seat belt thru the back of the seat. It helps stabilize it a lot better.

      Its also not safe to use both at the same time.@@jessej95
