I actually think I did my first successful chain tonight. I mean, I've been trying this for awhile and was shown in person and couldn't get it. What's maddening about that is that I'm a great cross stitcher and this I could just not get. 🤦♀️ I've been doing that for a LONG time though and like you, was shown how by a loved one. Holly, I literal just started my crocheting journey yesterday after watching your tutorial and I just wanted to thank you! I love your enthusiasm and you were very clear in your instructions and I was able to make not 1 but 2 pumpkins today. I used paper towels for filling as you suggested, but I'm finding that I can't push the needle through thick paper towels to get that pumpkin effect. Cotton balls would be better. Starting over.
Never crocheted in my life this was my first project. To any other beginners my struggles were with the foundation chain being tight previously and loosing track of how many double crochets I did. Don’t do that
Apologies if this has been answered before, but how many do you chain for a larger pumpkin? Ive made the small one following this tutorial and now need to make a whole family of them ❤

Attach your needle
Fold the pumpkin in half
Start sewing the pumpkin
Sewing bottom part:
Weave all the way around

@@HollyAuna yes please!!
I loved this tutorial. Very easy to follow. I was just wondering how many rows is 6 ridges or how many inches does it measure?
I’m not sure about measurements but I think it’s 12 rows! I’m pretty sure it’s two rows for one ridge!
Hi!! How many chains and rows for the medium pumpkin?. Your tutorial was the easiest I've found. I actually made the small one the first time.

I used paper towels for filling as you suggested, but I'm finding that I can't push the needle through thick paper towels to get that pumpkin effect. Cotton balls would be better. Starting over.
Oh no I’m so sorry!!!! Good to know!
Never crocheted in my life this was my first project. To any other beginners my struggles were with the foundation chain being tight previously and loosing track of how many double crochets I did. Don’t do that
I love the mushroom wallpaper. Where do I get it? Who makes it? Thank you for the tutorial.
Here’s the link for the wallpaper! It’s just keep and stick I love it so much! Thanks for watching!
