A wonderfully-made two part series on part-nature, part-geography and part-history of India, my Motherland. In a Country of made up of 1.4 billion Indians, to showcase mainly the architecture, greenery, culture and monuments, rivers, lakes and oceans without much of human presence or the hustle and bustle of daily life is indeed an amazing task, most of it was achieved by drones, I suppose. The narrative also very well prepared with poetic expressions. For someone who has left India as a child and having returned with family for a brief yet awesome visit to the land for 2 months about 12 years ago. these videos offer comfort, knowledge and moments to reminisce my India. Bharat Mata Ki Jai!

India has always been a land of milk n honey, physically, in her architecture n natural beauty n environs. It's no wonder that Christopher Columbus sailed around the world in search of Mother India but eventually landed in Turtle Island which is the Americas. When the British came as minor traders for John's Company, they were mesmerized with everything Indian. Genghis Khan n Tamerlane fell in love with our Motherland. The Moguls n Hindus got along fine eventually. Along the line they contributed somewhat to Indian heritage n so did the British. But there came a time when divide n rule was the order of the day, in the name of GREED. Temples were rampaged for its gold n precious metals, the Indian economy deteriorated to such an extent that the British government brought about the system of Indentureship n shipped away thousands of Indians to different parts of the world because labour was needed in growing plantations.

Your random selection of destinations is very nice idea.
    One suggestion though:
Keep the destinations per video as 10 and show some details abt them with statistics.
This will make the video more interesting.

A documentary maker who claims that Varkala is one of the hidden gems of India has never been to Kerala. I love India, and Kerala is the most beautiful, laid-back place. That is like claiming that Myrtle Beach is a hidden gem of the USA. Or Bournmouth is a hidden gem of England.

Thanks for showing the ruins of Hampi. But, there are other ancient temples that are still intact and more impressive than Hampi. These temples are old and indigenous to the ancient culture of this land. How can any video on India be complete without showing a glimpse of ancient Indian architecture, sculptures and art work?
    1. Kailasa cave temple in Ellora (this is the largest monolith structure in the world) Even though people have tried to destroy this structure, what is left behind is still impressive. There is nothing like this anywhere in the world. It deserves to be one of the world wonders.
    2. All the Buddhist/Jain/Hindu cave temples in Ajanta and Ellora. Some are in the same location as the above Kailasa temple
    3. Brihadeeswara temple in Tanjavur
    4. Madurai Meenakshi Temple
    5. Several other big temples in Tamil Nadu (Ranganathaswamy, arunachaleshwar, kailasanathar etc)
    6. Hoysala architecture in Karnataka (there are several unbelievable temples with detailed sculptures in this area) e.g Chennakesava & Hoysaleswara temples)
    7. Kajuraho group of temples in Madhya Pradesh - there are 25 temples that survived destruction. They are amazing, beautiful, detailed and impressive.
    8.Konark Sun Temple, Orissa
    9. Modhera Sun Temple, Gujarat
    10. Dilwara Jain temples, Mount abu and Ranakpur Jain temple in Rajastan
    11. The perfectly proportionate huge Bahubali statue in Karnataka (The Gomateshwara Statue in Shravanabelagola, Karnataka) This is an active Jain pilgrimage site
    12. Ancient temples in Andra Pradesh - Lepaksi, thousand pillar temple in Warangal, ramappa temple in Warangal etc
    13. Mahabalipuram
