@coin777 this wasn't bad by no means but it definitely doesn't compare to Gerald Albright live solo on Georgia on My Mind in birdland west. Comparably, these were just a lot of random un-needed chromatics which in my eyes is being technical. I feel in modern jazz, chromatics are over relied on to show skill to non musicians, not to say skill isn't involved, but triple tonguing is far more impressive to me than sluring chromatics. Particularly on sax, it's not impressive to me considering all the notes are there for you to push compare to us trumpeter having to use our chops for basically all notes.
6:44 Why I wanna cry on this part? I feel something special here, this nuance is beautiful... it looks for me like a sweet conversation, after a heavy words, dense speech, so now, just here we need to talk softly... you listen me and me listen you, at the end we going up slowly until finish it very high...
Thank You for being such an amazing Mentor for the Flame of Jazz I'm so grateful for your passionate example and education. I feel the Emotion and Love for your Father
Georgia - One of the first tunes I learned to improvise over and reharmonise when I was at school and playing mainly piano. Great to hear you playing with young musicians. We didn’t have that opportunity 60 years ago so making the most of it now. 😊😊
Extraordinary playing and such generous vibe with the band! Giving it all as always man. Honestly it's like being blasted into the stratosphere! I loved how you blended some beautiful gentle notes in with your cadenza. Thankyou for sharing.
Professor ficou excelente o solo de tenor junto com a moçada , nova fazendo o acompanhamento, muito bonita a apresentação , mais , será que este solo na região media do sax tenor não fica mais bonito?
It's called "Feeling It". Many musicians and a lot of Sax players do it. From Sanborn, Andy Snitzer, and many others. They are all just getting into it

At times Chad is too technical for my liking; I'll find myself wishing he would just let loose. He finally did, and MAN IT KICKS ASS. Lovely stuff.
So lovely
They said the same things about Michael Brecker. "Oh he's too technical" then you put him on a ballad and you see it's so much more than that.
Agreed
You think this is letting loose? Playing millions of notes is not letting loose

1:55 that break gave me chills! Such a great performance! Always nailing it, Chad!
Yea we know it comes from Mike Brecker x Coltrane, but at least someone is continuing Mikes styles of frames

Playing saxophone makes one flatulate. Sometimes they just need a nudge.
Not just good for Cinch adverts
Was the mic just kind of bad so you couldn’t play with dynamics? That sucks.
Foda!
Видимо, высоковато для тенора...
Of course it’s great as usual, however I don’t think altissimo on the tenor is so nice. We have the soprano to do that.
What are you talking about dude
