  • Microsleep is a very dangerous thing to happen in our lives. As we all know sleep is one of the most important things we need in our lives. It is through sleep that we rejuvenate and refresh our body and mind - if there are any wear and tears in our body, it gets repaired during our sleep. When our body doesn't get the required amount of sleep, microsleep happens. In case a person doesn't get an adequate amount of sleep, that person goes into a microsleep for a few seconds even without the person knowing.
    The danger of going into microsleep is that when a person's careful attention is required at work, it goes into microsleep. For example when a person is driving and goes into microsleep - this is when most of the accidents occur.
    To avoid going into a microsleep the person must make sure they've got enough sleep to perform their work. Instead of focusing on one work for a long period of time, make sure to change your attention to something else to keep the brain active. Another way to avoid going into microsleep is to engage in a conversation with people, or the best option would be to take a power nap - which is a 20-30-minute sleep, through which the fatigue of the person goes away. Caffeine plays a major part in keeping us awake.
    Always make sure to sleep regularly and that you are not going into a microsleep.
