    Why Lishi when there’s a code on the lock?

    • @aviglocksmith
      @aviglocksmith  10 месяцев назад

      It was easier and faster for me to Lishi it.

    King of key cutting and programming.
    The question arises
    Why u didn't use the km100? Thx in advance

      LOL, Some vehicles I like to use the IM508 instead of the KM100 because the IM508 is way faster to read the password and overall programming time.

    Wats better km100 or 508 or they do the same thing km100 is just smaller

    • @aviglocksmith
      @aviglocksmith  11 месяцев назад

      Hey. KM100 has the same software but slower data transfer. In most cases they can do the same, but some cars - the KM100 will not be able to handle it. some of the programming it's time sensitive and KM100 isn't fast enough.

      @@aviglocksmith what cars can it not handle or is the lost so large u couldn’t put it in a RUclips comment? Is there any way I can check which cars it can’t handle or I will just have to go through trial and error

    • @glassboi5401
      @glassboi5401 11 месяцев назад +1

      Because if that’s the case I mine as well get the 508

      I wonder what’s an alternative to the km100 as far as the size of it I haven’t seen any other smaller key programmer besides a foxwell how does the km100 compare to that if there is any other alternatives please let me know looking for something similar size as the km100

    • @aviglocksmith
      @aviglocksmith  11 месяцев назад

      @@glassboi5401 I don't have a list, it's a trial and error. Most of the cars they do the same. but the KM100 is slower.

    Is IM 508 any different from IM 608 pro because the IM 500 is much cheaper than 608 your honest opinion thanks

    • @aviglocksmith
      @aviglocksmith  11 месяцев назад +2

      Hey. IM508 is the same software as IM608, the IM508 is cheaper because it doesn't have the same diagnostics capabilities, as well as matching VIN numbers on new computers, and you can't do a lot of the EEPROM work on the European cars. But if you just need to program keys, and Domestic and Asian market - IM508 is the same.

    Where did you get that lishi kit and case? UHS?

    • @aviglocksmith
      @aviglocksmith  11 месяцев назад

      Yes and No. The Lishi tools I bought 1 by 1 from different vendors. The lishi case - Yes - from UHS. although I was a bit disappointed that the picture of the item on UHS shows prints on the foam with the lishi numbers and when the box arrived it wasn't printed. so I had to put stickers for all the lishis.
