That's honestly pretty heartwarming. You have to wonder how much stress that guy went through when he was found out only for so many to say, "You might be using someone else's name, but we're friends with _you_ and want to keep it that way."
Also funny that he mentions how join date isn't all that relevant because so many that have joined more recently have pulled off some amazing things. I'd argue that this counts as an example of that.
Ironically, the successful impersonation of a legend is enough to qualify someone as a legend.

The real Policemike sounds like an actually decent dude. He got along well enough with Popbob to base with him even after he got griefed, and he kept the fact that he sold the account secret to not ruin the new guy's fun. Even the fake Policemike sounds like an alright guy, he totally could have exploited it for malicious purposes, but instead it sounds like he just used it to make friends.

i think it was a happy ending. he proved himself as a trustworthy and hardworking member for groups, the original account owner is fine with it, and most people still respected him.

No one cares IF they're a respectable person. I've seen some actual cases of this. People who claimed to do something really cool like summiting a mountain (usually to impress a girl lol) who'd never actually done it. However by the time that came out they were known for being an amazing hiker from the stuff they actually had done, and no one really cared.

This felt weirdly wholesome to me when you said how people just really didn’t mind that the Mike they were playing with was fake.
In all honesty (and a theory for my own personal entertainment), I think MilkManMike was a really good fan of Policemanmike. So when he found out that the og Mike left, he decided to do some digging.
That’s when he found out about the og selling his account. So MilkMan just decided “Might as well take up the mantle” and purchased the account.
I don’t believe MilkManMike is a bad person, far from it. From you’ve said, he seems to be a really helpful person to those that ask him.
My personal theory is he decided to fake so he would be both safe and able to enjoy 2b2t for all its anarchaic glory without dying repeatedly, or just liked Policemanmike and just decided to take his mantle and continue the Policemanmike name.
Idk. I don’t play Minecraft (I wish I could) and I certainly wouldn’t survive a world like 2b2t if I tried. But I like reading these stories about it. Considered this channel subscribed. Thanks for reading.
99% of players ob 2b2t dont survive. i was there on e time on the server but it was impossible to escape spawn becausxe players try to kill you

I wouldn't call them "legends", and the server was honestly so small that I'm sure there was only 2 or 3 people that spoke to both of them. And i'm sure the speaking they did was only in text-based format. Plus, mike wasn't just "getting away with it", he enjoyed the server, built at our bases, duped at our stashes, pvped with our group, and was truly a member of the community. Doesn't matter that he bought some random account in 2017, i knew him for who he was, not for who he was pretending to be.
tbh i definetly agree with fit as since this a literal block game it is kinda weird to see someone go to great lengths for minecraft, (also nice vid really enjoyed)

It's honestly a genius plan for HauseMaster to create the persona of FitMC to advertise 2b2t as the oldest anarchy server in minecraft as the best way to advertise his server, 2bt2, the oldest anarchy server in Minecraft, with a history and a community that can't be matched by any other server, due to being the oldest anarchy server in Minecraft and being 2b2t and having the history of all these years as the oldest anarchy server in minecraft, it would take a persona like FitMC for HauseMaster to advertise his server, which is the oldest anarchy server on minecraft, which I wouldn't have even known about as a casual minecraft player who watches youtube videos such as FitMC's videos about the oldest anarcy server in minecraft created by HauseMaster
The intro of the video made me remember that a few years ago I had a really close online friend and played minecraft with him everyday for hours (on ps4) and one day without saying anything i just went offline (my parents and brother decided to sell the ps4 and buy an xbox) Today i logged on my account on the ps4 website and saw that for a year after i stopped playing he would message me asking do i want to play etc.
I messaged him but it seems he stopped playing on the ps4 :/
I us to have a 2b2t friend and me and him were apart of facepunch he looked up to me as an older brother and eventually became more powerful than me but then he was killed by popbob but what doesn't make sense is that I could probably kill popbob but he was killed by popbob even though he was way stronger than me
