D-Block & S-te-fan & Noisecontrollers both are newstyle/mainstream artists to someone who was active in the scene at the beginning, Coone was mainly jumpstyle back then. True/Real Hardstyle as it trasistioned from hardtrance and hardhouse will forever be 2001-2005 if you ask me. I can agree on DJ Thera though, and im glad he finally got the recognition he deserves, as he was mostly left out uncredited imo, back when it was Brennan & Heart.

I'm guessing since people didn't like the original hardstyle scene some DJ's suggested it was about time to introduce the new hardstyle sound which is much more softer in almost any way. It's just a shame that almost every new producer follow that same way.. I'm glad we still got people like Dj Thera to look up to.
