    Thanks, I'd never heard of Queen. I knew of Viceroys that look very similar to Monarch. Interesting, Queen chrysalis is very similar to Monarch but Viceroy chrysalis looks very different. I've been growing milkweed for about 6 years in northern California and FINALLY this year saw a Monarch for a few days on the milkweed. Now have 3 at the chrysalis stage. Great info an thank you.

    I learned something, thanks! I generally have lot's of milkweed but haven't been getting any rain. I'll keep an eye open for both this year🍀

    Throw out the Tropical Milkweed and use natives!

      Thanks Jack! I have done a bunch of research since making this video, and am growing other native varieties. Tropical milkweed is technically native to south Texas, but I still prune it way back in the late summer and fall to prevent confusion for the monarchs 💜
