  • I'm sure all interested parties have seen and heard these by now, but in the interests of keeping my own RUclips Channel up to date I'm now making them available here. Totally slipped my mind earlier in the year.
    Some little sound bites of my presets in POD Go. The dry sound is on 'Snapshot 2' and the processed sound is on 'Snapshot 1'.
    I should really pursue some of these ideas and make full tracks out of them!
    Hope you enjoy.

    I really love my PodGO. Best purchase in a while. I moved up from the Firehawk FX, which was a good unit, but the tones in this are amazing. Great playing, man. Thanks for sharing!

    An eclectic chocolatey mix of interesting effects and smooth sounds the likes of which I've not heard since Joanna Lumley's chocolate advertising voiceover days :)

      I have a serious question actually... do Line 6 do like a small desktop-type modelling amp just for noodling around on...? I used to have one of those horrible transistor "Marshal things... but I'm after something small (really small). I've seen the Yamaha thr5 but that might be too big. Just wondering... thanks in advance :)

      dougieladd I don’t think you can go far wrong with the Amplifi 30. Awesome and versatile thing. It’s not Helix but I use it a lot.

    Is there anything I can do with EQ or other regolations, to facilitate pinch harmonics on the bass notes?

    What output config did you use? Line out or amp out?

    • @paulhindmarshmusic
      @paulhindmarshmusic  3 года назад

      For this it was actually USB out. But in most other situations I would be using these as Line out.

      @@paulhindmarshmusic i see. is it recommended to connect monitor speaker (yamaha hs/mackie cr) directly through line out? Without using mixer or audio interface

    • @paulhindmarshmusic
      @paulhindmarshmusic  3 года назад

      @@joshuasimatupang1260 It's probably the easiest way depending on your setup. When I'm recording with USB (nearly all of the time) its easier for me to plugin POD Go outputs into my Steinberg interface and just monitor through that. Just using it as a mixer.

    Incredible tones mate, are they downloadable anywhere?

    • @paulhindmarshmusic
      @paulhindmarshmusic  3 года назад

      Hi. They should all be in the factory presets. In the locations on the graphics. If not let me know. I think I also added them to customtone.

      @@paulhindmarshmusic thanks my friend! I bought the pod go from another person and the factory presets were all gone already, will need to figure out if I can get them somewhere.

    Paul .. HELP! I'm slowly building my home studio.. I've got a vertical 212 loaded with Vintage 30's @ 8 ohms that top out at 120 Watts. (I'll never come close to using that much power) I have neighbors and want to be considerate and respectful so need great saturated tone at low volumes.. I'm not big on using headphones and do really want to enjoy my cab (within reason). I want to buy an amp head that will mate well with the Pod Go. I'd like to hear your suggestions.. I've been considering the Yamaha THR100HD,Quilter Overdrive 202 or their Quilter labs micropro mach 2 guitar amp head,the Line Six Spyder V 240HD Mk ll ,the Line 6 DT25, the Bad Cat Paw and finally the Laney IRT/SLS (I really like the flexibility of this one- it strikes me kind of like a THR on steroids - fantastic flexibility). Ive been told that I can't use the Pod Go with a modeling amp... Why not? As long at the Pod Go is being routed through the amp pure non adulterated clean setting, I don't see why that won't work. I intend to add a couple pedals and a G10S so I'm not swaddled in cables.... I'd appreciate you clarifying the "don't use a modeling amp with the Pod Go" thing... in my mind that concept strikes me as horses__t. In the list of amps above, do you see one that's superior to the others in its compatibility with the Pod Go?? I'm considering more evolved mostly 2 channel amps because their will likely be times when I'm not using the Pod Go. I'd like the ability to add jam tracks so want an accessory in as well as I'd like to be able to run a USB cable to my Windows
    10 laptop for DAW. Headphones in would also be nice. I started this search as a die hard have to have tubes guy but after several months of listening to both tube and digital..l I'm really leaning more towards going with Digital for the inherent reliability and reduced ownership cost....
    Sooo.... Bottom line... after reading my totally confused jumbled thoughts, I'd really love your recommendations.. I anxiously await your thoughts... Also... is there such a thing as an adapter that I can put in the chain that will allow for future use of a Line 6 Variax guitar?
