Nice. Finally a video that shows what happens to regular people trying this stuff. Just what I needed to see. Thank you.
Bro, I am watching this at work and I literally slapped my own forehead super loud when that breaker bar snapped like a chopstick. I was not aware our si’s had this issue…just ordered an nst kit. Probably will be needing this video when I install it. Thanks for the information and for this video. Subbed. 🙌

I broke my breaker too just like you did. I should have lowered it, so the breaker would be on the ground instead of hiting the control arm. I'm going to use your method tomorrow after I buy a stronger breaker bar. Thank you for showing us this! Super helpful!
19mm harmonic balancer socket from Amazon
Milwaukee 1/2 impact wrench does the job every time
yo i wish more ppl would have tools before getting into fixing they car lol snapon impact go brrrr idgaf
I’ve always had to let the engine break the bolt loose, great video
Great video, I gotta do this before taking it out of storage. I hope I can break the bolt
There's a special socket just for Honda crank pulley bolts. With an impact, it pops right out. The socket is key here, but hey it came out lol
Just the video I was looking for. I have a vibration that may also be caused by a worn crank pulley/harmonic balancer. Glad you included the before & after sound the engine was making. Good to know in advance that that pulley bolt may break some tools!
You're Welcome! I am glad the video helped! Yes! You can try my method that I use to unloosen the bolt.. After that crank, idler and tension pulley is replace the car sounds new again and a lot more quiet
@@EvilStreetShark how many miles does did your fa5 have at the time what's it at now? Bought to sell my soul to get one with 150k miles but is cleen
Thanks. Good video. Good details.
Listen to the Jamaican in the background... lol.
Bop, Bop, Bop!!! Gwaan pops... big mechanic!!! Lol
I knew I wasn’t trippin. Mines is starting to split too
Hey what is that dampener type thing you have hooked up to the control arm? Never seen it before. Very helpful video btw ty.
Thanks for the video , I have a important question? How do troubleshoot a crankshaft pulley that is not aligned with all pulleys 2014 Honda Civic ex 1.8
Wouldn’t it be a good idea to replace the main seal since the pulley is out?
Need a Milwaukee impact. It well worth it
After replace that pulley seal ..it start to do a chirping noise.. do you think is a bad cranck pulley .cus ac compresor is ok water pump tensioner and power stering they ok ... but chirping nois comes from cranck pulley..
Wow, I’m surprised you pulley didn’t fall out being so damaged
thinking of installing RRC crankshaft pulley on civic fn2 k20z4 but some rrc pulleys have holes and some don't . What should I buy with holes or without holes?
Can I get links to the full body kit you got?
Where you get the new pulley?
Yow bro could you send me the link to those disc wheels your rocking
Just noticed sum, you got a little link from your LCA to what looks like the frame and I know for a fact I don’t have that so what’s up with that?
Yeah I came here to ask this too. Looks like a suspension travel sensor of some kind
Hey bro do you have a name or link for that front bumper?
09-11 sedan bumper w hfp lip
You chose not to replace the front seal while you were in there?
The main seal where the clutch is?
@@EvilStreetShark No, that's the rear main. I was referring to the front main under the harmonic balancer. I guess if yours wasn't leaking, no harm no foul.
@@herrbrahms Mine wasnt leaking.
Thick for the informatiom
Those craftsmans breaker bars are crap. Gotta go with a snap on or any other industrial brand like matco or mac. The tools night be pricey but unless superman himself torqued a bolt, a snap on snaping off is highly unlinkely
