She seemed incredibly racist to me. I liked the other bits and her method but wtf. Hindu on a train? You lot not regretting your racism towards those you colonized? Just gonna continue it then with no reflection?
@@JenniferDaniels909 She specifically said before beginning the song that she WASN’T saying the word “Hindu”. I didn’t know what a hen-do is, but she was pretty clear that she wasn’t making a racial reference. So, being a reasonable person, I looked it up. A hen-do is a bachelorette party (party of all women to celebrate a woman getting married). So, chill out. 🤨
Definitely makes you wonder just how many of that audience actually knew that 'Hindu on a train' was a song parody of an absolutely classic 1970's song.
As in the first time your not disappointed when listening to a comedian? Only seen bad comedians before? Or just first and only time seeing British comedians and it was good?
Hey, glad to hear you like our comics! Good video to start with! (Also, you might like Taskmaster. It's a bunch of British comedians being ordered to do silly things by a bigger, scarier British comedian. Good stuff.)
For all of of us Grace's out here- If I had a dime for everytime I said "my name's Grace not Graceful" after I had just tripped, spilled, stumbled, broke something, etc... I'd be riiiiiich. Also, saying that always makes it less awkward and is a great ice breaker lmao 😅 I used to have realllllly bad social anxiety and would have panic attacks &/or begin to cry anytime I did something awkward or one of the things I just listed in front of anyone.. but saying that allllllways has helped ease the situation without a doubt! I hope this helps anyone who's been in similar SHITuations as myself. 😅🥺🤦🏼♀️
@@gracemcclain1471 oh wow, I likewise get anxiety and panic attacks usually triggered by social interaction, what a weird coincidence? Do you also have divorced parents and had a questionable childhood as well? I may have just found my twin Hahaha
For those who are confused, and it is really, very important: HEN-DO. Hen. Do. Hen-do. Bachelorette party. Bunch of hens on a night out before the main hen's big day. Like a stag-do but for women. Hen-do on a train. Brilliant video, fantastic comics! Maybe give us proper subtitles though! Not such a fan of the trans joke personally, seems just a bit mean towards any trans women listening, but I can see why some would see it as making fun of transphobia more so than trans people.

( you only get "time out" if you do something bad ) - so the next night I took my brothers dessert / cookies again - got another "time out" - enough time to finish building the death star - before i was expected to do "chores" .
The virtue names couldn't really happen here in Yorkshire especially if it's dad's choice. "This here is my son. Goodlad Buysizdadapint Cupwinner. And this my Daughter. Notuntil Shetwenty."
7:40 ... I never understood having a "time out" in a room full of all of the kids favorite things ... my idea ( that my wife hates ) is taking a "time out" in the bathroom - after I use it. laws against yelling & hitting ... no laws against - a bad smell.
From the States: Rachel's song didn't make sense until the end when I realized she was saying "hen-do". It's not a phrase we use. Lol. I only got it bcuz I watch a lot of panel shows and I was "Oh, she's saying 'Hen-do'. I listened to the song again and it made so much more sense. 🤣🤣
Hi, just to name a few more outside of London there was Moms Mabley who was dubbed the first female comedian to perform at an Apollo theater, Amy Schumer, Leslie Jones and a few others I would imagine but since the focus is on the "funniest" women of Apollo then perhaps you should consider Adele Givens, Dominique Witten and Small Fry. Just trying to give credit where it's due, goodbye 👋
The 1st one, idk her name, but I saw her twice today and I'm pretty sure she is hypersensitive (emotionally speaking) cause she said many times she hates making choices etc.
