Thank you very much At 7:40 Can you explain the meaning of quantize symbols (size) ? Like this for 4/4 time signature another for 6/8 time signature.... etc
Quantize size decides how to align the notes. It depends on the note type rather than the time signature. For example one full beat is 1920 points(sub positions like millimeters for centimeters). so if you take one beat as a centi meter for example, there would be 4 centimeters in a 4/4 time signature. If you quantize with a quarter note size, the notes will align to the centimeters. If you select 16th note to quantize, the notes would align to either the starting of each centimeter or 5 mm (exact center between two centimeters). If it is a 16th note, the position would be in 2.5 mms. When you have triplets in the patterns you need to select a triplet size for quantize. Hope i did not confuse you
excelente amigo muy buenos videos, una pregunta...se le puede agregar una tercera o cuarta bateria ahi mismo en el teclado? yo lo hago pero con un sofware..si se puede hacer en el teclado nos puedes compartir como se hace? muchas gracias.
Hello, I tried recording a song using the MIDI Multi record option. The song which I am recording has many different drum patterns. How do I play 1 pattern and copy it into the other bars of the same track? Would really appreciate your help
You can do it from the step edit page. There is an option called “multi select”. It allows you to select multiple events(notes) and copy and paste to another measure
It can be done for the models which support audio styles. You can use the yamaha audio phraser software for that. Import wav loops and export that as a sty format. Then once imported into the keyboard’s style creator, it will go to the audio track.
@@ArrangerTutorials thank u. I have a wav loop in the usb, I am not able to import it to the stlye creator.. the audio option wont enable. Pls let me know how to enable the audio option
@@peterreuben8116 you cannot load it directly on the keyboard. It has to be done through the audio phraser software. And not all keyboards have audio track option. Which is your keyboard?
I used an audio phraser and the .aus file got recognised as a ryhtm jn psr sx 900 But the same file did not recognise in psr s 970 What format should be the audio file for it to work in psr s 970
When you record a style, you would record only one chord in a track for variations, fills and break. It can be any chord. But you need to set that chord and key in the settings. After saving the style, you can play it in any key and chord.
Sir, I am very impressed with your videos and techniques. Do you offer online classes if I need help creating a style, especially Tabla style? I am ready to pay in advance. Please let me know.
Cheta i use sx700 unfortunately it doesn't support .wav files to import into styles thru assembly. My question is how do I convert .wav to .rex or any other comparable format so that I can use in styles.
Thank you. Without the audio styles feature, its not possible to import audio tracks. But one work around is to add the loop to a drum kit using YEM and use it in the style. But you cannot change the tempo. There were some tools which convert audio to midi. But i am not sure about the quality. Also the original sound cannot be used in this case.
It is preset in the drum kit we select. We can check it before the recording. It would be different in each drum kit. But a lot of preset drum kits follow the same key mapping
