La création de styles sur les Psr n'est pas si compliqué, il faut juste s'y mettre et ensuite cela devient plus simple et plus clair. Très belle vidéo comme toujours Leigh 🎹👍. Une très bonne continuation musicale et vive la musique.
This is an amazing tutorial. I was searching for a video in style creation for years now and this is the best one now on RUclips. I wish you had this video years ago when I purchased my Korg PA 60. I recently ordered an SX700 and this will be very useful for me. Thank you.
The best one among the many which I have watched about style creation functionality. It gave me the real insight and power of style creation menu in the keyboard Thanks a lot...
Hi Leigh! I'll be recieving my sx900 in 2 days time and your video is exactly what I needed! Thanks a lot. Another of your videos helped me to choose the sx900. Great work, thanks again. Chris Mackey, Mauritius (British ex pat.)...ps..some people do need to get out more!!!
This is absolutely brilliant Leigh! I simple play the styles that the Yamaha Genos 2 came with and never even bothered to try anything of this sort :) I haven't even learnt how to create registrations as of yet. Coming to think of it, I wish there are lessons for beginner of how to do these things ... Thank you millions Leigh as much a appreciated indeed.
Amazing video so well explained.I have just got my SX900 And this and many of your other videos are such a great help well done look forward to more in the future at 74 I need all the help I can get Thank you
Mickyb Hi Leigh the sx900 is an astonishing instrument and you have made your tutorials no nonsense how to in plain English and it is much appreciated as I was going to be one of those people who would buy a style but now I am going to try my own Thank you
Thanks for this. Opens up the possibilities with my SX900. I was almost about to get the Genos 2 or the Korg PA5X, but I realize there’s much more to learn on the SX900.
This is the only video to explain all the way to creat the styles very care fully and joy fully.with out any doubts thank you for the great work you have done.please do a video about making styles from loop samples.we have a huge collection of loops but with no use.
Thank you so much Leigh ❤. This is what we need to learn. Could you please demonstrate how to make a song/ midi multi track , from scratch. and how to edit with the DAW.
Another great video Leigh. One question: After the created style is complete, saved and performed, how would you go back in and, for example, raise the volume of the bass (or any instrument in the style) for ONE variation? Thanks
I have a question, when we create a style style creator option gives 1 2 3 or 1 2 3 4 beat or rhythm but if we want to change the rhythm pattern count how we can do it ? 🤔
Hello Again Leigh,...what an amazing video again. Like you said in an other video,...this is a very powerful en well thought out instrument. I couldn't agree more! What I really really like about your video's is you switching from keyboard layout to a full screen display layout. Wonderful. So we can see the display functions very well. I assume you have something to make that happen. Could you help me out with that Leigh? I want to display the internal display to an external monitor? The SX900 doesn't come with a HDMI port??? What do you use to make this happen? Thank you for the video Leigh. I hope you can answer my question. Have a good one Leigh! Cheers.
@@LeighWilbraham Thanks for the quick response Leigh I really appreciate it. Do you have a brand and serie number for me? It is a jungle on Amazon. I want to order the right one. Thanks you very much Leigh.
@LeighWilbraham Thanks. I had psr sx900, but I'm the happy owner of Genos 2 now. Can I ask a couple of more questions? Is there an ability to insert additional bars in the middle of Midi song and record just that additional part instead of recording the whole song? Also, I noticed that when I made a mistake and just wanted to start recording from that part, the drum velocity changes for some reason. Do you know how to fix that? I appreciate your great performance and tutorials. I enjoy every video.🤝
Well I was thinking of buying a Genos2 but if the Yamaha this video is demonstrating is the 'Baby 'Brother' then I need to rethink as to what I might be letting myself in for. Mmm! Thinking cap time 😮 Thanks for the demo by the way
@@LeighWilbraham At 7:55 you said, "Now I'm playing everything in C Major. What you need to do is record it with a major 7th because when you change your chords with the left hand, the keyboard will then automatically calculate and fill the gaps." My question is, if the song for which I'm creating the style does not have any major 7th chords in it, do I still need to record it using a major 7th?
@@Abby-zi4xi all rhythmic patterns should contain cmaj7 notes. For example if you want to make an arpeggio of c chord play b e g b - if will play c e g c when you save and play it back.
As someone new to keyboards, I keep hearing the word "pad". For example, in this video, "choir and pad"and "pad strings". Can anyone tell me what pad actually means? Many thanks.

Hi there
Do you have a video of how to do 'fill in'
Does the 600 and 700 have the same style creation functions? Great lesson.
Yes.

It’s referring to a voice that adds a “layer” of sound - normally a warm sound to “pad” out the backing.
