As a young lad in South Wales, the first novelty piano piece of sheet music I found was a Russ Conway arrangement of China Tea. I now reside in Florida and have been enjoying and learning from your videos for two or three years. Thank you, and keep up the good work.
Hi Leigh Good to see you back, great video I love these little tips you give, and love to see more of them, I will sit at the Genos2 and create this registration, thank you for sharing great post. best regards Del in Sunny Kent
Hello Leigh, from Lytham St Annes!! Russ Conway was a big influence on me as a kid. My parents bought me the LP "Concerto for dreamers" (I think it was called) and I never looked back. Thanks for some great suggestions. I will see how much I can replicate on my wonderful SX600 🤔 Cheers.
Hi there Leigh...Love your Video's...Just a question? Are you running the Genos 2 through a Reverb or have you applied a global reverb on the Genos 2 because my Genos 2 doesn't sound like your Videos....My OTS's are much much dryer? Thanks if you can answer this....
I rarely use OTS and make my own which I then save as a USER style - the reverb I use is the Revelation Cathedral with an adjustment to the amount - not too much. For the me, the cathedral has a nice warm tone and gives enough reverb to make the voice pop.
I am not getting that Russ Conway Sound when I choose that style. I get the instruments set-up in my registration memory. How do I get that great sound??
SUPER AS ALWAYS! I'VE WATCHED TWICE! TALK ABOUT ALOT OF FREE TIME! HURRY BACK! CAL FROM AMERICA

Choose the piano OTS and then follow the tutorial
@@LeighWilbraham thank you for the swift reply. So select the style from oldies, then OTS? Hope I have that right!
