Don’t matter what kind of conflict she have with her in laws, a mother have all the right in this law system for custody of her children. Something is missing in this story, she’s not telling the truth. To fight for your children for 9 years that’s something suspicious. Anyways glad she got her children back and hope she cleaned up good. 😏😉

@blueberrysmilie1 I think it was the lack of resource and not having a support system. Nowadays with social media we can join support groups that are helpful. Glad this lady got a happy ending to her story.

Some things said doesn’t add up, but I’m glad this person got justice and got her kids back after 10 years. Don’t stay with people who don’t love you and don’t marry someone who’s whole family dislike you. If he truly love you then y’all live alone in another state or city 😂

But I don't understand people said "it doesn't add up her calling the police" At that moment she probably had no choice but to call for help.

Because it happened to me too. I went through almost the same situation as her. We have a normal divorced but my ex in law tried to find any reason n nit nag to take my children away from me. All Because they don't want their son to pay child support! But the in law never can love or care for my children. No matter how good of a mother you are if your husband n his whole family is against you you can't fight the whole pac alone. So I get her when you fought alone against their whole family.

@@douamoua7573 I’m sorry you went through that. I mentioned in my other comment that this lady probably snapped bc of all the shit she went through with her in-laws. She did not get any support from anyone not even her parents so she went through hell. It’s sad how the justice system work. She simply just fell through the crack. Her only fault was that she kept staying even though she knew they hated her. Hmong in-laws especially will make your life hell because they are uneducated about child support. Most Hmong men does not believe they need to lose a penny for their children after divorce if they lost custody. I hope things turned out good for you.

Don't take me wrong sister. I totally agreed with you, everything you've said. You couldn't said it better. Some old folks n Hmong men do think they above the law. But the truth is the truth. Because it can very be hard n dark days as a mother when we loose our children to selfish people. Knowing they can't care or love them. Only a good loving mother will knows that feeling. This story doesn't really add up. If u r innocent & haven't done anything to ur kids, why would the court take them away from u for 9 years? I just don't get it.
Because when you are poor and don’t have the resources the people who have resources always win.
That’s why karma/npam doesn’t make sense. They only see npam when it happens to other people but not when it happens to them.

Congratulations! You did the right thing. Never let evil wins. Keep fighting for justice. I had gone through both state and federal courts for this kind of nasty shit. I spent about 50k to fight my ex and her evil parents. At the end, she ended up going to jail and paying child support. Since the day she and her parents become evils against me, bad things keep happening to them. Her mom got heart congestion and her dad had a heart attack and now is on a stage 4 cancer. The family has also faced many other problems. Evil people will use the law for their own evilness to harm you, but honesty and faith will prevail, and kurma will do its work.
Be faithful when you fight for the right things.

I think this lady got crazy after her husband started cheating so the family had proof she was psycho.

This lady lied too much about the court system. as a lawyer and doing some of these cases, I have never seen a child protective case that is ongoing for 9 years as she claimed. Child protective case usually finished within 1 year. She lost the case, the children were awarded to the father, she was ordered to pay child support. She blamed the free lawyer for not helping her. As lawyers, we cannot change the facts. Child custody and child protective case are always based on the facts. She told this story only from her selfish sides. I am sure the court and social workers were investigating all the facts seriously. As she said, even her own parents were not on her side. She did not get the children back because she kept the case open and never stop. She got the children back all because the stepmother abused the children.
Exactly. It's not like she finally won her kids back after 9 yrs. Or that the dad was finally found to be bad. No, it was the stepmom and that's why the court decided to give the kids back to her bc the kids were more u safe wit the dad and stepmom. Had the stepmom not abused the daughter, the dad would still have custody of the kids.
Agree with the comments this story is missing some important information. I’m sure all these ppls are just not going to take he said she said to charge and make these kind of decisions to take away her kids and pay child support.

Not to offend the lady of this story, but your story doesn't add up on the part of you losing your kids if you were a victim of domestic violence yourself even though your inlaws they fabricated they story like you claim. They had visual scratches, you should also have visual bruises too if you were beaten and almost blacked out. Nonetheless, I'm happy you got your kids back and karma will find it's way to all involved.
People can easily scratch themselves. When one person is against a group your story has no credit. I do feel bad for her being in a helpless situation. She sounds naive and has no support even her own family didn’t support her through court.
