Zack, I am entering my 29th year as a C5-7, almost high of my life. I saw alot of myself in your videos and even learned alittle even though I've experienced SCI alittle longer. Thank you for sharing your story with us, makes me feel more part of a group than just an oddball in the crowd. P S : my accident made me the person I am today and I feel blessed. Stay strong my brother
If this means anything, we use your videos in teaching neuromuscular physical rehabilitation at my doctorate of physical therapy school program to better understand the experience of our patients. The positivity is killer!!! You will never know how much you truly impact people; I'll remember your story and tips and tricks for all the patients I encounter as I keep going. AND I give your videos to my patients to help them understand the realistic possibility of relative independence after their injury.
Nicole Seward Thank you so much for sharing this with me! This is exactly why I make my videos. To educate and inspire people. That is so cool to hear you using my videos in your program. Positivity is so important when dealing with an injury like being paralyzed. Happy to help!(:
I agree with her Zack. Very uplifting, encouraging, inspiring AND handsome! :D You're blessing so many people. The Lord Jesus continue to bless you, give you strength and joy!
hey Zack I'm happy to see you doing this video you made a big difference in my life for me I was hit by a car three years ago I'm in a wheelchair I'm paryaled from the waist down and I was getting so mad cause I couldn't do all I did before but when I came across your video I said if he can do it so can I so you are truly my hero in every way you are amazing and I'm not giving up I'm a fighter now like you thank you ...
Your attitude and outlook on life is wonderful. My dad recently had a stroke that has resulted in major memory loss and is now blind. I try to continue to see the good in life, especially his. I know it is possible. No one story can be compared to another. But, I find comfort and inspiration in how you took a bad situation and turned into something good. I also cling to my faith and know that God has a plan for everything. Thank you for sharing your story!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us and showing your life here on Facebook. You’re an amazing person and I’m glad your video showed up in my feed. I was in a wheelchair for a long time and I never let it hold me back. I learned that your ATTITUDE is what makes you YOU, not a wheelchair!
My name is Nicole Schmidt. I think you are a totally and absolutely cutie. I would love to meet you talk to you on the phone 1-612-213-8678. Or e-mail me schmidtn766@gmail.com also on messager.

Man I cried when I saw you walking on your graduation day . God bless you always. You’re an amazing man I swear and your parents are the replica of god who are helping you in building up a new life.. love from India 🇮🇳♥️
Never would I ever had imagined the things you said turned out better for you because of this accident. You opened my eyes. You are so right. All your accomplishments, family bond, everything you mentioned probably would have never been, never existed. So many of us have those sad sibling issues (speaking for myself)and dont ever get close with ours parents or discover passion for life. You are my inspiration.
My boyfriend is a paraplegic, and I only wish he had the motivation to do as much as you can/have. I recently subscribed to your channel and I absolutely love watching your get ready with me/ the real life behind the scenes of taking care of someone with a spinal cord injury. Your mom is a total bad ass! & I think it’s so awesome and inspiring that you don’t let your spinal cord injury consume your life. Keep moving forward with a positive attitude 💕
Taylor Marie Inspire him, build him up.. tell your BF he can. Tell him he’s a great man, to many women don’t know how to be a leader when there leader falls.. pick him up, look him in the eyes and say your strong! You can do this.. don’t give up on him. You have to believe what you say because we can hear the doubt in your voice.. sincerely a king with out a queen..😔
Zack Spoke to my students twice and he was amazing. It's near impossible to silence 700 13 yr olds but when he was speaking, you could hear a pin drop. Zack is an inspiration as is his mom and family. Thank you Zack.
Thank you for sharing your story with us Zack, we’re so proud of how far you’ve come and I’m sure your parents are over the moon with your progression x love from Aus
Wow Zack! This is real inspiring. Im sitting at work in tears hearing the positives of your accident. I love hearing you talk so positively about your journey and how magnificent it is. Huge accomplishment.
You are awesome! Thank you for sharing your story and it showed me what I need to be grateful for. God is good and may he strengthen you every day of your life.
I just discovered your channel today, and I am loving your videos. You are very inspiring and I love that you give all the glory to God for sparing your life. Keep the videos coming!
WOW !!! You're incredible. You're positivity is absolutely inspiring. You definitely brought me to tears watching this video. Your a beautiful man and you have a beautiful soul.
You are such an inspiration and so incredibly positive. God’s spirit pours out of you. I went on a missions trip with your mom and brother a couple years back and hearing your heart, I know this is your mission here at home. Your message of hope in Jesus is beautiful. May God bless you always!
I'm a caretaker for my friend who is also a quadriplegic and I came to your videos to learn what I could do to help make things easier for him. I've learned a lot because of you and I've been able to help him have more independence with the techniques you use. So thank you so much! You are an inspiration!
Eight years of learning and facing hard challenges. I love your great attitude! You inspire me to keep trying harder despides the hard moments in life ! God bless u Thanks for another video.
I wished you all the best Zack, you might never know me, but your story truly touches me. A family is what we all need and our faith in God. In life, we had to go for some difficulties & struggle just to be able to appreciate those little things that we ignored most of the times. All of this situation that is happening for us, may it be happy or sad, is a reminder that we have to value those times and things no matter what it maybe comes. Thanks Zack.
Divas Live I understand everything you said I am I am a hemiplegic I’ve been left side paralyzed for two years now I have I was the victim of a random act of violence and a kid came up to my car and shot me in my head and left me for dead right in front of my wife I have given up feeling sorry for myself and instead of feeling sorry for the things I don’t have anymore I think God every day for the things I do have like my wife who is me the night I got shot and has never left my side not once all by the grace of God and if I had a chance to do it all over again I wouldn’t change anything because of this accident I have become a better person with a better relationship with my family and a better relationship with my creator God in heaven so Zach all the best wishes to you my brother and God bless you and keep you
Zack you don’t realize it yet but you have a higher calling from a higher power god has work for us to do and it’s not time to go yet just keep the faith and pray and he will reveal his plan for us God bless you my brother
You seriously seem like such a wonderful human. Thanks for sharing your powerful story with us! Your attitude is beyond beautiful and you articulate your thoughts so well. Hope to see more of you (and your pup)!
You move me. Life's journey can be crazy good and crazy difficult. Knowing you through your videos makes me look at myself and my own disabilities and makes me hopeful so Thank you🙏.
Thanks so much for sharing your life with us. I'm so happy to have found your channel you motivate me to do more. I have social anxiety and chronic depression mental illness has take alot from my life but seeing you go ahead and embrace life makes me feel i can do it to.
Zack, I have watched several of your videos. I am disabled and have several health issues that limit the things that I can do. I have to confess, I have let this disability make me depressed and bitter at times. Furthermore, I have not looked for the positive things in my life, especially as a believer in Messiah. When I look at what you have done in your life, I have cried out to God help me to be grateful for what I have like Zack and be positive and have a smile on my face like he does. Zack, for sharing so much of your experiences, I so needed this. Bless you, my friend, keep up this ministry of caring.
Thank you, Zack, for your positive vibes. I am a person who believes that we can do anything that our mind can imagine. Don't set limitations. It sounds like you have plans and goals for yourself which is awesome. Keep on smiling and being you.
I was the first one to graduate with a associates from my family too! As of now im in progress of getting my bachelors and masters degree for teaching 🙂 You are doing great btw keep doing your best and i hope you have a good future ahead of u, i know u will👍
Thanks for sharing your story. I have no idea what it's like to live in a wheelchair, but from your channel I can see it's more difficult than I can imagine. Even so, I really identified with what you said about not wanting to take back or change the day of your injury. I'm a recovering addict with 7 years of sobriety, and I understand completely how it feels to be so grateful for what can look like the worst parts of your life to someone else. Wisdom comes from meeting adversity with grace, and you are so young to be blessed with so much wisdom. I am grateful I came across you and your story. Thank you for sharing your gift with me and the world. Namaste.
Thank you for sharing. My experience is from the other side of the equation as a caregiver for my wife, and almost immediately after her death for my father. The fear as a caregiver is not knowing if you are up to providing the care needed. I was fortunate to have a job where I could continue to work a number of hours from home and with the medical assistance of hospice to learn of equipment and medicine to help. It was inspiring to see the courage and attitude for looking forward to coping with life in the future as opposed to facing the inevitability of the end of life of a loved one. The care needed for each individual is unique and your willingness to share is much appreciated. So much of the time you just don’t want to talk about them. The same goes for the emotional issues. Again thanks for sharing your upbeat attitude for dealing with and give your mother and other caregivers an extra hug for helping you along the way.
Doing a great job! Not sure how I got your feed, glad I did. You're doing a great job with your videos! Genuine and honest, keep sharing your story, you have a strong self assuredness that comes through! You need to keep up doing speaking engagements!! You're very good! You are a blessing to so many who are being influenced by your story. Some of us are paralyzed by other things and we can learn from you on resilience. Great job!! How proud your parents must be! Great job they've done too!
Your attitude towards life after a life-altering injury is truly incredible. It is so easy to fall into despair after something traumatic happens but you have chosen to see the world and your place within it with hope, positivity, and kindness. I admire you so much and can't wait to see what wonderful things you do next. All the best
You remind so much of my cousin. At the age of 16 he to had a diving accident resulting with a broken neck. His outlook on life was contagious. His accident happened in 1950. The medical care was nothing like today. He didnt grt out much but he did so much from his bed. Bobby lived until he was 74. The drs and nurses and my mom were by his side, and said a beautiful light lifted from his body at the moment he died. He lived a good life and I miss him dearly. Keep that gorgeous smile on your face! You have been blessed.
Zach, I'm a T-10 paraplegic. My accident happened on July 4, 2010. You have an incredible amount of courage and outstanding attitude. Thank you for sharing on your videos. God bless you.
I just found your channel earlier today! You are such an inspiration. My life has always been hard in every sense. But the videos I’ve watched of yours today has definitely put a LOT into perspective for me, I can’t thank you enough for that. Your parents as well are truly amazing people!
Also- Zach, I’m going through something minor that’s physical and your positive strength is making me see my small issue in a different way. Can’t Thankyou enough. You’re a rare one. A strong one. And a great one. Exemplary human being!
You're a beautiful, positive soul. The world needs more people like you, and I truly mean that. Your attitude is absolutely inspirational, and I will try to remember your words and your story as I go through my own life's challenges.
You are incredible. I love you man. You are very inspiring. I’m a 31 year old quad coming up on four years. Keep making these videos. Very encouraging. You are a beautiful soul.
RUclips needs more people like you. People who are sharing their story to HELP change the world. You are an awesome guy and I hope that your life continues to prosper. Love.
I can't exactly say Happy Anniversary but I can totally say congratulations on your success in life for the last 8 years since then! Do you have some interview footage of your parents? I will look again to see if I find that, otherwise please have them speaking in some videos please. It's a big anniversary for them as well...a life changing one for sure. Your mom especially is so strong both physically and mentally that other caretakers will for sure benefit from her as much as we benefit from your ordeal. I often wish my parents would join a caretakers support group. I know u they exists just haven't seen much in my area....along with not many support groups for disabled. I was in a startup one but it only lasted 4 meetings due to the leader's inexperience. If I weren't so broken myself I would start one but anything on a regular schedule I struggle with so that's not a good fit. Anyway, thanks for the vlogs and congrats on your continued RUclips success!
I came across your channel by accident. And I believe I was guided here for a reason. This is such a powerful video. You are such a beautiful person. You're my age, and you are an inspiration. I've been feeling challenged and lost lately. And this has been uplifting. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your story. I feel ashamed noticing that I'm complaining so often about little unimportant things. You're so right, we all should be thankful for life and live it the best possible way. Thank you! ☉
Zack , you are such an amazing young man . Watching your story about your injury made me cry . I’m so happy for you that you don’t let your injury stop you from living your life to the fullest . Keep inspiring people , you’re awesome .
Loves and hugs! I’m learning so much through you. You have such a wonderful outlook on everything. You also have such a wonderful family. One last thing, you’re hot AF.
I just discovered your channel by accident while looking for something totally unrelated..but i am so glad I did!! you are so encouraging and uplifting..I absolutely love your attitude and how you handle what happened to you! I feel the same way about my disability as you had voiced in your video.. God had a reason for it and used it to get my Grandpa's attention and he got saved on the day I was born after hearing that his grand daughter would not be able to walk.. I feel that if God can use it to touch other people in any way than it is worth every second of it....I was born a paraplegic I have a condition called Spina Bifida I have the worst type of Spina BIfida...I look forward to see more videos from you!!! ***Hugs*** from South Carolina
What an amazing video!❤. I was almost paralyzed from playing hockey. I was quickly rushed to the hospital to do many tests but all was well. After 2 years I am still struggling but then I look at this and think how lucky I am to just be in pain everyday and im lucky I can feel pain. The first thing I said was I'm glad it was me and not any of my teammates! You are such an inspiration.
Zach, wow you are such an amazing guy! I've watched several of your videos and I can say that you have encouraged me to get out of my 'bubble' as you mentioned and try harder at doing things I *can* do instead of being miserable in my current state of chronic pain. You are so blessed to have such a wonderful mother! (mom's rule!) I'm older than you but wow you have a million dollar smile and are very very handsome!! Congrats on getting into grad school and I wish you the best of luck finishing that and getting into counseling. I think you will be a great counselor since you are so positive about yourself and your future. We all have bad days or not so good days but I'm going to keep in mind the positive and encouraging words from you in this video. Thank you for sharing your life with us. I feel I was supposed to come across your videos today (for my own reasons) and I'm very glad I did. I wish you all the joys and happiness life will bring you in your future. *big hugs* 🤗
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing, and for you to say if you could go back to that day you would not change a thing, true inspiration! Keep up the great videos, i am learning so much!
I have two kids around your age and stumbled upon this video. You are an inspiration as is your mom and family. God has big plans for you and your future is bright. Bless you all.
God bless you Zack..Keep on fighting.Your an inspiration to many..Am just new here and you make me emotional to see what you've gone through but you still keep fighting..I was so blessed you know God and you have a relationship with Him..Having God in life is the best Coz without Him,we cannot do anything..God has a purpose in your life and keep doing good and always be positive..He said,He will never leave you nor forsake you,but He will be with you wherever you go..God bless your whole family for always being there for you..Love from Philippines.
love your attitude and you are very inspirational. i think i love you already. just made me cry all your video, very moving story. i hope we meet one day just to give you a big hug. btw you have amazing family. xxx
I found you by chance and I'm so glad I have. I'm watching your films and learning about you and your life. I'm able bodied and you have taught me so much already. You are an inspiration and your positivity leaves me lost for words. I hope you realize just how you are changing the lives and views of many people. You and your family are amazing.
Your a amazing man! I wish I could just meet and speak with you. I've always said you have a choice to be happy or miserable. I choose happy!! Awesome w school as well! I have my masters in psychology! Would never have wanted to do anything else!
Positive vibes is key!! People look at me and don't see that I have three kidney diseases. I can look at you and not see that you're sitting in a wheelchair. We should never judge because we never know what someone is really going through. I commend you because you are a hero.
Your an amazing example! I’m so honored that I came across u I lost the lost of my life 10-05-17 last year at 18 due to a wreck and he passed he didn’t come through because he would of had the same thing as you if he was still here so thank u so much for sharing with us it means a lot ur amazing !!! I’m proud so see how strong u are !!! Your a hero !!! ❤️❤️
AMEN! I am an L2 paraplegic and I could not agree more with everything you said. Life is a struggle for everyone. You can either roll with the punches and make the best of them or you can let life beat you up. The choice is ultimately yours. There is nothing I would change about my life. Secondly, it gives me so much joy seeing someone else in a similar situation to mine turn closer to God rather than turning away. I hear so many people with disabilities say that they cannot believe in a God that would allow them to suffer like they do. This is a totally rational way of thinking but to me there is more to it than that. My life is by no means perfect but at least I have life. God has placed opportunities in my life being a paraplegic that I would never have as an able bodied person. Hang in there and keep up the great work brother!
Zack. Thank you for just being an incredible human. You are a beautiful soul, extremely insightful and grateful...refreshing. Keep spreading your experiences and amazing words. Be well.
Thank you for sharing your story. Your positive attitude and smile are just so (I kinda hate this word but it's the only one I can think of right now) inspirational. I think that your parents are amazing. They're doing what they need to do in order to let you live life the way YOU want to live it. I'm so glad to see that the bonds between your family, God, friends, and strangers have grown stronger. When I was 15 I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis (a digestive disease.) It is NOTHING like what you go through on a daily basis but l have to wear an ostomy bag. I hate having an ileostomy, but it's the reason I'm here and alive. I wish you the best of luck in all you do and I can't wait to see the mark you leave on this earth through the people you touch. Give mom and dad one extra hug a day, they do a lot and I'm sure every time you leave their sight they're worried sick. God Bless
Thanks Zack for being an inspiration. I agree with everything you just said. Reach out and maybe we can do a collab or something. You can find my social media on my channel.
I truly admire how strong you are. Honestly I got teary-eyed when you started talking about how this this day does not bother you anymore, Because this week will be two years into my spinal cord injury and I still get very upset just thinking about it and if I could go back and change that day, Yes I would. So I guess it all just takes time, but I hope to one day be strong and not want to change the past. You also give me more motivation because we are the same age and you have accomplished a lot of great things
I'm definitely stuck in my little bubble & rarely go out of my comfort zone, so these words mean a lot. A change is needed, so thank YOU! Congrats on your Bachelor's Degree too Zack or shall I say a future Dr. Collie? There's no limit!!!!!!! Hugs!
I respect you soo much. Watching you makes me realise how much I complain about even the most simplest things in life. I hope to achieve your level of maturity one day in my life. I just wanna pray to God and say, how beautiful of a human being you are. Bless you sincerely.

Your beautiful
You are a genuine winner! You decided to make the very best of a tragic accident, and your amazing mother is a real angel from heaven!!
This taught me that I should not take anything for granted. It also taught me too always show compassion to others.
This taught me there is definitely no God.

Namaste.
Love your positive vibes!!!
I look up to you brother, one of the strongest individuals I know. I want to have a mentality like you.
Thanks for sharing bro. You truly are an inspiration
You are so sweet and you have such a positive out look on life may god bless you and you family ❤️
Love your videos. Keep strong buddy. You got a great attitude man. You give me hope and faith in humanity.
You're a beautiful, positive soul. The world needs more people like you, and I truly mean that. Your attitude is absolutely inspirational, and I will try to remember your words and your story as I go through my own life's challenges.
God bless you Zack.
Sending prayers your way, you are a great inspiration.

Continue to inspire us. Continue to post more videos. You're such an inspiration.
Life is an attitude. Yours is hugely positive. Wishing you all the necessary strength.
Keep being the good man you are Zack!
Thank you!
Very powerful video
Thank you for sharing your story. I feel ashamed noticing that I'm complaining so often about little unimportant things. You're so right, we all should be thankful for life and live it the best possible way. Thank you! ☉
Wow man thank u 4 sharing ur story u are so strong.
Your smile is gorgeous! I love that your injury really has not slowed you down. You're inspirational. ♥️
You are such a blessing. xxx
God bless you too! :)
Zack, I love the positive attitude! Continue to inspire others!!!!

You are beyond mature, you are enlightened! Keep shining bright!
You are sooo inspirational
Your tenacity is epic Zack. All the way around including your faith, and family. You are inspiring to us all. Sending you positive vibes of love. Rob
Same to you!
God Bless
Zack Collie you’re very handsome no homosexual just a compliment
Zack Collie l have no doubt that you will! ❤
OMG... I just found your videos today and I've already watched 3 and i cant stop. GOD has big things for you. You're such an inspiration to everyone.
What a beautiful testimony amen. ☺️
You rock Zack Collie....there is nothing you can't take on....all the best to You!
Thanks Zack for being an inspiration. I agree with everything you just said. Reach out and maybe we can do a collab or something. You can find my social media on my channel.
You're so cute! You remind me of Ryan Reynolds ,Your strength and faith is amazing!
You're an inspiration! Are you able to tell/show us how Sadona (sorry if spelt wrong) helps you during your day? That would be amazing!
Awesome! Can't wait to see it :)
I'm definitely stuck in my little bubble & rarely go out of my comfort zone, so these words mean a lot. A change is needed, so thank YOU! Congrats on your Bachelor's Degree too Zack or shall I say a future Dr. Collie? There's no limit!!!!!!! Hugs!
You are awesome !
I respect you soo much. Watching you makes me realise how much I complain about even the most simplest things in life. I hope to achieve your level of maturity one day in my life. I just wanna pray to God and say, how beautiful of a human being you are. Bless you sincerely.
