Sis, thank you for creating and publishing this content frfr. SO many people say they "have a LLC"...and my response is, "but do you have it completely buttoned up...as in registered with the State? No." They just out here with an IRS EIN letter, 🙄. After watching your content today, I successfully registered with my State! And within 48 business hours (or a week), I can go to the credit union and apply for business credit! Thank you immensely for putting us all ON. You are flawless and you made this look easy! File LLC first then EIN! Please…it will save you a big hassle. Wait until LLC approved..then get EIN(shouldn’t do same day) If in any event LLC isn’t approved, you would have to get another EIN..that’s just one issue you could run into and either way will delay your business in some way.

You can’t do that in Ohio you have to have the EIN before filling the LLC

I heard that if you get your ein number first before your llc is approved you have to wait a few months to get another ein number for that llc
So it’s best get llc or s corp first get approved then ein

Thank you for such valuable info! I have a question regarding address for a business. If we have employees who don’t enter my home only conduct business at clients homes, but I conduct business from my home (calls,management,etc) does that make my home a valid address for an LLC?

If we decide to publish on manhattan will cost maybe 800-1500 but if we publish in county like albany or allegany will cost 50 to 200

After I filed and paid the State fee in Michigan it said Michigan had other questions and one of the questions was, "who will run your business" and I am the only owner. But they gave me four options to choose from which were:
1. All the owners
2. Only some of the owners
3. Both 1&2 and other managers
4. None of the owners, only other managers
And I have to put something in order to move to the next question.

Hey Mike! In this case, you will register for LLC first in order to receive an EIN. Once registered, you will be contacted by an LLC agent and they will help you through the process and any questions you may have. Therefore at the end, you’re just signing up for LLC just to register your business & making sure you do not run into any illegal issues.
Hello are you able to add other busineses onto your LLC after creating one? I have two busineses II'm trying to run and I want to be able to have under an LLC. I was almost done completing the process for my LLC and thought about that before I did. Hopefully I get a response today because I'm super excited to do it legit, thanks to you and for no cost! thats amazing! I hope they are successful. keep in mind its sometimes better to create two separate LLCs in case a third party attempts to sue you it wouldnt effect with your other businesses. just something to consider, please do not take no offense from my comment, if you know this info already then thats great but not everyone is aware. I work for uber eats and i want to do this to get bussines credit. Also my sole propietor taxes were 1200 2022 earned 9000
But with llc my taxes will be higher?? or same as sole propietor. Do i need to pay extra fees each year to maintain the llc status?

One LLC will cover them all. Some people use a DBA to operate their other businesses/services under a different name within that LLC.

Hi Akkera, I have a trucking LLC that I opened a couple of years ago but I didn't operate the business. Now I want to get into real estate investing and I'm required to open another LLC. Can I use the previous LLC or do I have to open another one? Your advice will be greatly appreciated.
Those are two different things so most likely you have to open up a new LLC for real estate investing
Always best to not put your LLC “in a box” if possible to avoid this…likely you would have had to anyway since those are two very different businesses.

You always can but filing with the state can be more complicated and no matter what there’s no way around state fees.
If you chose a zenbusiness registered agent, would they have charged a fee for that? Understandable if so, just wondering :)

state of North Carolina charge $128 as a state fee I thought I had a free ride

Getting your LLC'S is free but you will still have to pay for filing fee which is processing and registration in your state yearly fee.

No you would need to get a virtual address. Unfortunately you can’t use a PO Box for an llc
