Well known in Asia after his performances in the Singer competition in Hong Kong. He is only now arriving in the conscience of America through youtube. I bet, knowing Dimash’s passion for music of all genres, he would love to sing in a gospel church! He once said if you cut his brain open you’d find only music. Lol. The shoe throwing I’ve seen from Jennifer Hudson when she loves something A LOT hahaha. Such a great tradition. I’m down in Tasmania, Australia and I listen to Dimash every day of mylife now. The greatest talent of this generation and the West hasn’t really caught on fully yet. You haven't heard anything yet..he has a powerful and gorgeous lower register.....well that can be said of every register, I suppose, in Dimash's case. Dimash has been training since the age of 5. He sang soprano when he was young and then maintained the skill and range by continuing to utilize and work in the upper registers even as hs vocal chords matured and grew thicker and longer, giving him access to the lower ranges also.... I think that because he did not abandon the higher registers as he mautured and his natural voice lowered, the folds of his vocal chords have become incredibly supple and flexible and his ability to manipulate and contol the musculature attached to them developed to a very high level of precision and capability .

If you had not stopped you would have been able to hear him speak. He has an surprisingly deep and very calm speaking voice considering how extremly high he can sing with complete ease.

He was singing in French but he also sings in 12 total languages. He speaks Kazakh and Russian and is learning English and Mandarin. He plays multiple instruments and is a composer. He trains 3 hours every day with a voice coach and because he is so humble he attributes his success to his parents, grandparents and teachers. He has studied since he was 5, now he is 26 and will receive his Masters in musical composition this year. He plans to get his PHd. Being a driven young man, no doubt he will achieve this. He was offered a tenor position in the Astana Opera upon graduation of his 4 year degree. He turned it down. He has a huge fan base in China and Russia and really worldwide.

Not only does he have the voice of an angel (or several angels), but he has an extremely, sincerely, sweet and kind personality. He was born with perfect pitch and a passion for singing (even as an infant) and began giving small performances when he was 2. He started in Music Academy when he was 5. Since then, he has practiced, or trained, for 3 hours every morning. He has expanded his range up to 6 octaves plus 5 half-tones. Those thousands of hours have paid off big time. He dearly loves to give a good show to his "Dears" (fans.) I strongly urge you to watch him sing "Ogni Pietra," which demonstrates his ability to switch from low registers to high ones---yet the performance is not just a vocal demonstration, it's a beautiful and stunning work of art. It was written by celebrated Russian composer, Igor Krutoy, who came out of retirement just to provide appropriate music for this unique voice. Recently, Dimash has worked with the Italian movie makers who have produced a sci-fi production called Creators: the Past. In it, Dimash sings a song (or perhaps more than one) as background music. It's definitely worth a good listen. It's called "Across Endless Dimensions." There is one in which you hear the singing but there's only a still picture of him. In the other one, you see and hear him actually singing. I think that because he did not abandon the higher registers as he mautured and his natural voice lowered, the folds of his vocal chords have become incredibly supple and flexible and his ability to manipulate and contol the musculature attached to them developed to a very high level of precision and capability .

If you had not stopped you would have been able to hear him speak. He has an surprisingly deep and very calm speaking voice considering how extremly high he can sing with complete ease.

He was singing in French but he also sings in 12 total languages. He speaks Kazakh and Russian and is learning English and Mandarin. He plays multiple instruments and is a composer. He trains 3 hours every day with a voice coach and because he is so humble he attributes his success to his parents, grandparents and teachers. He has studied since he was 5, now he is 26 and will receive his Masters in musical composition this year. He plans to get his PHd. Being a driven young man, no doubt he will achieve this. He was offered a tenor position in the Astana Opera upon graduation of his 4 year degree. He turned it down. He has a huge fan base in China and Russia and really worldwide.

Hi, Dileesa, Actually, he talks in a normal voice for a guy who is 26 (as of yesterday.) Not only does he have the voice of an angel (or several angels), but he has an extremely, sincerely, sweet and kind personality. He was born with perfect pitch and a passion for singing (even as an infant) and began giving small performances when he was 2. He started in Music Academy when he was 5. Since then, he has practiced, or trained, for 3 hours every morning. He has expanded his range up to 6 octaves plus 5 half-tones. Those thousands of hours have paid off big time. He dearly loves to give a good show to his "Dears" (fans.)
I strongly urge you to watch him sing "Ogni Pietra," which demonstrates his ability to switch from low registers to high ones---yet the performance is not just a vocal demonstration, it's a beautiful and stunning work of art. It was written by celebrated Russian composer, Igor Krutoy, who came out of retirement just to provide appropriate music for this unique voice.
Recently, Dimash has worked with the Italian movie makers who have produced a sci-fi production called Creators: the Past. In it, Dimash sings a song (or perhaps more than one) as background music. It's definitely worth a good listen. It's called "Across Endless Dimensions." There is one in which you hear the singing but there's only a still picture of him. In the other one, you see and hear him actually singing. Both are worth a listen, but if you have time for only one, the second one, where you see him singing, is probably the most impressive and enjoyable.
People tend to think Dimash is small and slight, but actually he stands 6'3" tall. This lengthy grace lends pleasure to watching his stage presence when he sings, for instance, "Sinful Passions." Dimash has been in vocal classes since he was 5 years old. At which time they found he has perfect pitch. He traines his voice for 3 hours a day. He just had his 26th birthday. He has degrees in classical Opera, pop & Jazz.
He has degrees in song composition,ect ect. He has trained his God given 6 octaves plus 2 half notes voice for more then 20 years. It is this dedication that allows him to sing any & all genre he wishes to sing. Yes, he is amazing! Welcome to the Dimash journey!
