Yes it does lag a bit and you've to wait for a while after clicking the picture. If you want to click a picture quickly, just press the volume up button for burst shots and it would do the job but the phone lags if you do the same while clicking the shutter button. The camera is overall great, and telephoto lens in this price is no joke. You can't switch lenses on 4k mode but it can be done in 1080p 30 mode. This issue with the camera app is present in all Moto phones, including the strongest Edge 50 ultra so it's not performance related
