I have been using the moto edge 50 fusion the younger brother of all the edge 50 series phones, I have not faced any of the problems that Ershad stated, the camera, the colour reproduction. I think the fusion is the perfect phone under 25k and it has been receiving regular security patch updates. Keep it up motorola.
@@_aditi_1610 You know it's a balanced phone, it has very decent battery and a balanced processor I can play codm at 90fps at high graphics that's more than enough for 90 percent of the customer. Having no gallery is a common ground for all the edge 50 series phones and the cameras are good enough for most of the people buying this phone they aren't going to cry that they have to crop their videos.
Thank you Moto for bringing 3x telephoto under 25k and making it a norm, all the brands should now drop the 8mp ultrawide BS and start giving proper 3 cameras. High time now.

Ultra wide gives a different perspective and kind a fish eye effect which liked by many and definitely there are some cramped places where u can't step back to take shot of whole area so in these situations ultra wide is very useful

For normal users who want good camera and decent permanent with some casual gaming , Moto Edge 50 neo is definitely a great deal especially in terms of camera. And for those who want a strong performance centric phone, I would recommend going for phones like Poco X6 pro which is far stronger than any other phones in that price, and it also has decent camera setup.
The Edge 50 has 5000 mah battery and a bigger display, and it's just 10 grams heavier so I think that a larger battery could have been possible They might have ran into some problems in design or the size but I hope that the 4300 mah battery doesn't degrade much in 5 years Normally, phones usually get about 250 charging cycles in a year and about 500 to 1000 charging cycles are expected to degrade the battery health to about 80% of it's original capacity i.e a 6000 mah phone would have a capacity of about 5000 mah after 2 years of usage There are exceptions like my Redmi Note 7 pro with just 4000 mah battery which still has similar battery life after 5 years Although it varies from phone to phone, but lower batter capacity does decides how long it can last in the future.

Motorola not only needs to improve their update policy but also service center experience. For instance I live in Hyderabad and here we only have two service centers. Being a metro city, I'm unable to fix my phone's issues then only god knows how a tier 2 or 3 city person can fix his/her issues. Also recently Motorola is suffering from green line issues. I don't exactly know the model but it seems Motorola needs to fix their QC as well. Thanks for bringing this comparo to the table. After using phones from Huawei, HTC, LG, Sony, Xiaomi and Asus i came to the conclusion that none of them beats the smoothness of Motorola. My previous phone was the Edge 30 Neo. I chose this compact phone after i got into an accident with my Asus Flip camera phone with a superior Qualcomm 870 processor (i think it was). So on paper the Moto would be a huge step back. My experience disagreed. Ok, the Asus was faster, this one was smoother. Same for the Sony Xperia 5 i used to own. Fast chipset on the most crappy phone i ever had. The Edge 30 neo beats the sh*t out of the Sony. And then it became time for the Edge 50 neo. The camera update, 5 years support, 3000 nits, military rating, IP68. Just couldn't resist and bought this phone in the beautiful latte colour. 3 weeks in use and i absolutely love it. The smoothness of de 30 neo but without the weaker part of that phone, the camera. But honestly, the camera's on the 30 neo weren't that bad as long as you don't need to focus to much. As far as the battery goes. Don't worry to much about the 4310 mah capacity. I use my phone all day. I even enabled the battery smartlife. This means that my phone never charges more than 80% and still it lasts me a full day easily. There's no need to spend more money on a really good phone unless maybe when you are a gaming lover. I can't tell you anything about gaming performance because i never game.

Battery and Perfomance is priority where oneplus wins easily, and there's not much of a difference in display though. Camera is the major part where moto takes lead over oneplus.
The Moto does seem like the better phone overall. Nord CE 4 is a still good pick for people who prioritise performance, battery life and charging. And i also believe that the CE 4 will fare better over the long term, even with fewer updates. I am doubtful whether the Moto will be good enough for 5 years of usage due to slow updates, weaker performance and small battery
I don't know what stops moto from giving a 5000mAh battery (that's the industry standards) , that's a deal breaker for sure. People won't mind not having wireless charging under 25k but Moto is trying to make it a USP while lacking in a very basic area. And certainly this stoping edge 50 neo to be called as allrounder

go with fe if its cheaper. pixel 8 will give clean ui but it has heating issue unless u use wifi most of the time and less cellular data

I am using nord ce 4 since it's launch and I can tell you to go with moto edge 50 neo if you don't mind dimensity processor.
OnePlus sucks now a days in every aspect UI, software, and most importantly it's their services ( frustrating )

People complaining about the battery. I also thought it was rubbish when I got it first. That was the 30 th of November. But yes I charged the phone at 12 am, now it's 19:38 pm, I've got 59% of battery. All this sharing the WiFi from my phone to my Laptop. So yes it's a complete phone

Buyer's review says, battery back-up is not good on EDGE 50 neo. But, it depends on each users and their work style.

Just like Smart Connect, OnePlus has Link to Windows. Both are similar. The phone can be used as a webcam in link to windows. You didn't mention this.

@tracking tech ..I bought the moto edge 50 Neo. Everything is good except the skin tone on the camera which is Reddish in tone and the white background seems like yellowish.

Battery and Perfomance is priority where oneplus wins easily, and there's not much of a difference in display though. Camera is the major part where moto takes lead over oneplus.

The Moto does seem like the better phone overall. Nord CE 4 is a still good pick for people who prioritise performance, battery life and charging. And i also believe that the CE 4 will fare better over the long term, even with fewer updates. I am doubtful whether the Moto will be good enough for 5 years of usage due to slow updates, weaker performance and small battery

I don't know what stops moto from giving a 5000mAh battery (that's the industry standards) , that's a deal breaker for sure.
People won't mind not having wireless charging under 25k but Moto is trying to make it a USP while lacking in a very basic area.
