It's cool 'n all to bike around in shorts and flip flops and no pads or helmet, until the first time you lay it over at speed, or run into something unexpected. My man used a motorcycle as a lead magnet, then sold it as a buffer for his budget and now bought a new bike to keep things interesting. This guy is going places (literally).

I had a nice 750 Honda, and tried to teach my girlfriend (now wife) to ride. She was just too scared. And with that big machine, I don’t blame her. I learned on a small, lightweight dirt bike. It’s easier on a smaller bike!
Hey guys, glad you're having fun but the thumbnail scared me a bit. Please don't have long flowing fabric anywhere there are turning wheels or places it could be caught in rotation machinery.
Kate becoming a biker mama - looking good too. Go at ur own pace when riding. Get comfortable at low speeds first. Riding is fun. I rode for many years.
Katlyn, it's ok to be nervous about trying something that you've never experienced before. How can you hit the gas when it's electric? If you ever decide to buy a motorcycle, get a Harley. While it's not impossible to find someone who has ridden an Indian. It's relatively easy to find someone who has ridden a Fatboy.
