Hey there Dakota, this is the first time I've seen your channel and its obvious your just starting up. But I really liked the way you presented the information and kept saying "this is just what I like", not that its the best. A bit of humble honesty goes a long way. I'm down in Australia and l think your style of outdoor life will cross over nicely to mine. Anyway you got your self a subscription. PS I like the bucket l usually have a couple of 20lt plastic one with lids, easy to pack, easy to grab, use them as a coffee table or a stool. God bless you and your efforts.
Yeah i've only been at this youtube thing for a few years. I'm trying to grow as a content creator it's hard because my vision for what I want to give you and what i'm able to give you off my cell phone are much different things. I have so much knowledge.I would like to share, but it seems that I have a lackluster way of doing that l o l.
@@deansmith9232 welcome, dean.I hope you have a good time with the channel. If you have any questions or request, let me know and I'll do as best as I can to make that happen for you.
Lapel mic! Helps tremendously! Dakota, ask your buds who have good audio on their vids, for recommendations. You'll be happy that you don't have to read comments about the audio anymore.😊
@@ahayseed654 i have a mic.I just didn't use it in this video because it was packed away and I didn't feel like unpacking and repacking just for the video
I agree to disagree with you. For fun I have followed every “guru “ from even the beginning to see if they work. All are silly. My history doesn’t matter but even the SAS handbook is false because you are never told what size of tobacco tin is used. I have no idea how you can or would want to carry that bucket. The firearm is what you have don’t think about it. I do carry a very inexpensive sling shot for fun and that’s my thing. The pack can be anything, or just a belt with a pouch for kit and a canteen holder, with a metal canteen and cup. If you did not notice to my knowledge even back in the day mummy bags are still open all the way to the foot of them. So you have the advantage of I guess what you now call a quilt or a mommy bag with less weight over all but yes more expensive. Medical kit? Just don’t ask. You think too much about that. My real medical kit can fit in the palm of your hand and deal with even sucking chest wounds. You get a stroke? Um ya can’t help you not my skill. Just me being me.
@@offthecouch1999 I look forward to seeing your explanation. Don’t take this as me being rude but I have tried with a smaller bucket that another author after my time suggested and did not enjoy the experience. I might have been packing it wrong so that could be why I did not like the experience. Also tried packing extra heavy boots like our hunter training told us in grade school and didn’t like that either so you are not being singled out. I’m curious.
@markwalker4485 show the bucket for me.Is something that works for me. It allows me to wash clothes game eating utecesl my self ex. It also allows me to have three and a half ish gallons of water at camp. I will be the first to tell you that this is the most impractical thing to have in a backpack, and if you're trying to do such a thing, i'm sorry. That kit that you saw there. What's for a canoe or other conveyance?Vehicle. For example, in that video I had pulled my car up to where I was camping for ten days. I was however nice and far away from any legitimate road.At least 45 min from amything of value. The biggest thing I could recommend somebody carrying Into the Woods. If you are going to hike it in, is it one and a half quart pale for cooking in and being able to process a little more water than is necessary for common camp.Tasks. the big, heavy boots thing I also agree on. I will wear modern combat boots because they are lightweight enough, but still heavy. Weight as well enough to hold up to the southern cane.Breaks, and will allow my feet to dry quickly. If they get wet. Every now and again, I wear a pair of thurogoods better.Seemingly waterproof for at least a brief period of time, and are definitely weatherproof. But I usually only wear that in the colder months of winter or colder days.I should say here in alabama. We don't get too many cold months straight. Usually just a week of two or fifteen degree weather or thirty degree weather, depending. I hope all this helps

It's kind of hard to need to carry a bucket if there's a car a hundred feet from you at a base cap to do it for you.
We will do a whole video here soon. The practicality of the steel bucket
