Yup, I didn't realize those were Tarzan's parents on the floor next to bloody paw prints... And I thought Terk was a boy, and I thought little Tantor was a girl until I heard his adult voice. I didn't realize Terk was female until I heard her mom address her as "young lady" when taking her home after meeting baby Tarzan, and using her full name "Terkina!" when she said Tarzan was funny-looking.

I actually didn’t realize Clayton was hanged until I was older. I always assumed he fell to his death until one day when I watched the movie and finally saw the silhouette…..I was shocked to say the least

"Son of Man" was my favorite Disney songs growing up when this came out I was 12 and that song really hit me hard right in the feels. I was growing up without a father and it just let me know from the lyrics that I will make it and I will grow up to become the man that I always wanted to be

Not to detract from the emotional meaning the song has for you, but I just wanted to point out that several of the 'adventures' young Tarzan has during that musical sequence are actually canon to the original Tarzan stories, particularly the one where they lasso the flamingo.

Animation isn't as great as this first movie but it's entertaining. They never had kids but it delved into their lives in the Jungle as a couple.

Yeah thats a fun movie. It could do without the "love monkey" imo, but still pretty great. And the CGI actually held up for quite awhile. Now of course its pretty obvious, but I remember watching it again probably 10 or so years ago and was surprised it didn't look completely clunky.

I hate the frozen theory that connects Tarzan to Elsa and Anna. It doesn’t make sense. Especially because most people (before the second movie came out) speculated the parents were going to Rapunzel’s wedding. Rapunzel is in Germany and Frozen is in Norway, so there is no way to accidentally make it to Africa. The sequel dispelled the theory anyway, but the theory never worked in my mind.
Phil Collins not only did this soundtrack but he also sang it in various languages when it was released in other countries. Phil Collins went way above the bar for Tarzan

What’s poppin king 🤴🏾, thank you for hitting this one because Tarzan is my second favorite Disney movie and the soundtrack will forever be great , every song was spot on to the moment and the storyline was good 👍🏾…. 10/10 for this movie and Question: can you start rating the movies from 1-10 and why you feel that number is best ? Tbh I never heard the frozen theory but that is so wrong and a reach but I can say they do look alike probably did use the animation design again because they role was small … but always a funny and nostalgic treat with you but I still don’t get how you never seen some of these movies at all??? Like what was your selection then as a little children ??
“Tarzan” and “The Lion King” saga will always have the best OST among Disney classics for me. I know their songs by heart and even sing with an accent for “Tarzan” as Phil sang the songs in multiple languages, as I’m french I know the song in french and I picked up his accent while singing 😅

That leopard must be as old as hell! They normally live to between 12-17 years old. So if Tarzan is around 20, that leopard lived too long!

@@watermelonwatsittoya the movie takes place in Africa, hence there being Gorillas and Elephants, and Clayton talking about how he was born for Africa. So Leopards make more sense than Jaguars.

I am glad you reacted to Tarzan , i didn't grow up with princess movies but with animated movies with animals and this one my favorite Disney movie . I have listened the soundtrack when i was little until now, Phil Collins with this soundtrack and Brother Bear one is Chef Kiss for sure. I wanted to say that at the beginning when Kala finds him behind the bloody paw prints you can see the bodies of Tarzan parents. When i was little i didn't notice but for re watching a lot i saw them and it was terrifying. Favorite line "Jungle Boo" xD

Don’t know if you’ve seen this movie, but “Disney’s Dinosaur” was always a personal favorite of mine. Scared me to death as a kid (not like Jurassic park), but it’s a movie I’ve always loved. Not everyone agrees, but just in case you’ve never seen it…. #bingers
Yeah thats a fun movie. It could do without the "love monkey" imo, but still pretty great. And the CGI actually held up for quite awhile. Now of course its pretty obvious, but I remember watching it again probably 10 or so years ago and was surprised it didn't look completely clunky.

I hate the frozen theory that connects Tarzan to Elsa and Anna. It doesn’t make sense. Especially because most people (before the second movie came out) speculated the parents were going to Rapunzel’s wedding. Rapunzel is in Germany and Frozen is in Norway, so there is no way to accidentally make it to Africa. The sequel dispelled the theory anyway, but the theory never worked in my mind.
The director admitted it was a joke too.
