He is proud of who he is BUT knows that Blacks have a right to be proud. That's a beautiful space for great conversation. This should be required viewing for young kid in college. Boosie had an opportunity to share his thoughts without being a buffoon. His knowledge of the arts and history was evident. Simply superb!

@@MrLilpaul3 yea but even then, he kinda did what he had to -- he was kinda taking punches, getting ripped on by a guy he clearly looked up to/was intimidated by, but eventually hit back when he realized that's how he had to play it, with that singular theo wit. and then the last 1/3 of the interview was way better because (unless i'm crafting this memory, which i wouldn't put past myself) bill seemed to respect the bit of aggression theo responded with and became more of a genuine participant in the interview. uncomfortable for sure, but ultimately worth watching

I love Boosie but it's just sad to me to think that even after he's built what he's built for himself and his family in this country he still thinks that giving a handout to people is going to help them. I feel like even though he's no echo nomist he still should know better and should be able to see the parallel in his argument about Native Americans. It's the perfect example of what reparations do to a community. High rates of addiction, mental illness, poverty, violence, and the inability for the group to function in society the way it otherwise would. Not to mention the logistics of giving compensation to people who weren't actually slaves by people who didn't actually own them. Then we have to talk about the 100s of thousands of white soldiers who died trying to end slavery. Do their families get compensation? I just feel like way more good could be done by being honest with Black America about the fact that in this country no matter how poor you are you are only one generation from wealth. Stay in school, don't have kids out of wedlock, go to college or learn a trade, manage your money well and boom break the cycle. Much love respect and peace to everyone out there. Stay blessed.
