I don’t get why this finale isn’t talked about more. People complain about Corypheus being an underwhelming fight but don’t give props to how epic this feels. It’s the modern equivalent of the battle of Denerim.
I liked my intro to the battle. My Rook is a grey warden and he shouts, "in war, VICTORY!" and at those words, Emmerich (who was a lich) put his game face on and went full lich.
Honestly, as a Grey Warden this game is one of my favorites in the franchise. I haven't been this attached to my OG character since Origins. Just wish they could have worked on the writing a bit more.
7:27 Holy shit, Emmrich 😅😅 Was that crunching sound him breaking that dude's spine or something? That's a cold af way to kill someone for such a sweet character, that was so cool.
I liked this ending EXCEPT, I felt Lucanis got the shaft. Really wanted to see him getting into it with that mage but all I got was him running with the crows. :(

@@bat32391yup definitely… but the ending mission and the cutscenes remind me of the good old days of bioware
7:18 - Manfred in the background just jumping over a Venatori and hitting them in the head... It's just too funny
I know this game got heavily criticised but this mission reminded me how good Bioware can be, i adored this scene with my Crow Rook
Its a really good part of an underwhelming game, its a shame the rest wasn't this good, this part feels more epic than previous DA games.
Emmrich snapping the bones of that Venatori is the best of the companions who can disable the ward
And Manfred in the background jumping on Venatori and pummeling them is the amazing.

I think I just fell in love with Emmrich all over again oops
sure everyone :)))

Even when you assign him to the mage, it's still Teia who ultimately gets her. Not sure what the point of that is.
