I like that Kelly sang it in her style and didn’t try to imitate the original exactly. I think she did a great job with paying respect to the original but also making it her own/ her style! Some people don’t like it bc she didn’t do it exactly like the original. I really enjoyed it, personally, but I’m also a huge KC fan. The KC Show uploads videos of the show on RUclips daily if you’re interested in watching it. That’s how I watch the segments that I watch. They’re just broken down and not one long video of the whole show at once. 😊

Another great video! Who doesn't love Kelly? I got two things to say:
1. Everybody knows the Immigrant Song since it was prominently featured in "Thor: Ragnarok". A lot of people though might not tealize it's actually a Led Zeppelin song.
2. I don't know that much about guitars, but if you're playing a song in a different key and it messes with your muscle memory, wouldn't it be an option to tune your guitar differently?

That‘s a very good point! And yes, you,re right. Usually you would tune your guitar down to the specific key and play the song the way you‘re used to or you can use a capo, if you want to play it higher than the original (like in Kelly‘s Sad But True version). 🤘❤️
It's easy, if you aren't into the musical style Kelly typically sings, to write her off as an above average pop singer, and be done with it. But like Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, etc., she is an almost peerless (these days) female vocalist who can tackle pretty much anything. Will it be some edgy Pat Benatar-alike rendition. No. I would imagine that she has the chops to do that, but she will tastefully interpret (not simply cover) the vocals. Talent is as talent does.
I believe she could push the metal/hard rock envelope a bit more, but then the career and agents and the business side would start asking, "What will your die hard fans think" if it starts to become more than a TV episode one-off.
You should try *The Warning* - their 'Enter Sandman' cover went viral when they were 14, 12, and 9, and got Metallica's attention. Their new cover is on Metallica's _Blacklist_ album, and they showed MTV what rock music was with their song 'Evolve' at the 2023 MTV VMAs.
