Petula Clark had some of the best songs back in the 60s. One of my favorite female singers back then. I'm so glad I was able to grow up with music like hers. Still listen to her music today. COLOUR MY WORLD was my favorite by her she had other good ones. Like the sound of the female back up singers on this song that made this song so good.

The classic energetic exuberance of this song, its musical structure, and its impeccable execution captured my ear at first listen at the age of 13 1/2. I was riveted to it every time it was on the radio. It has remained in the top 5 all-time songs of mine. I get a rush every time I hear it.

Kudos to the composer and songwriter for this masterpiece.
It takes creative vision to come up with a unique and energetic song like this.
There are songs so unique to a particular artist that no other artist dares to do the cover.
Georgy Girl for The Seekers is one example and Color My World for Petula Clark is another.

In that year, there were only three television channels.
For music, the primary mode of listening was radio.
Most couldn't afford a record player or records.
By means of sound only on the radio, this song had a most immediately arresting quality above most others. A 10 out of 10 for me. Only 5 songs reached me like this one did and continues to do so today.

I don't think that's the song we'll get but that could be fun. Scarborough Fair and Love Is Blue (the gun names in 1&2)didn't get a remix. I think we'll have a 3rd "classic song with Moon in the title", and I bet on Oh, You Crazy Moon
