give it more throttle to start it. the Hi/Low gear does not have to be in neutral to start. Extremely nice looking tractor. I have a 1970 diesel. it is a total monster. I love it. I have to clutch mine to engage the pto.
Thank you it does have a safety switch on the hi lo. Nice they are good tractors. As for the throttle these engines seem to start better when left at idle my dad has a 3600 and it's the same way
