I have a 4000 with a front loader. Works great have been working on it for 5 years, mainly restoration and improvements. I am in Brittany France. Amazing machine. My neighbors are farmers with big tractors and are in love with that thing.
I had a Ford 3000 and it was a good tractor. I decided to sell the 3000 Gas burner and keep my Ford 3600 because it was a diesel and had power steering. But both are good tractors. I did not need 2 tractors is the only reason I sold it.
Love your 3000. My father sold Allis Chalmers for 30 years. The dealership he worked at also had another dealership in a nearby town that sold Fords. I currently own a 4610. Those are great tractors. Thank you for the video. I appreciate it.

Yes it is, the early ones carried the name of the previous Fordson models: Dexta, super Dexta, Major and Super Major. This was dropped after a couple of years
@@metalligods Again as long as it is maintained and lubricated there is no reason for damage to occur while using it, there are many older tractors of all types still able to be used for work and they are fine, as long as they are looked after
Why were stabilizers used with a cultivator. The stabilizers prevented you from making turns and that is why you had to keep raising the cultivator every time you made a turn.
You've picked up a bad habit getting on and off your tractor from the right hand side. Too easy to catch clothing on the hydraulics, also leaving the engine running when dismounting from the right, accidentally kick her into gear getting back to the clutch is a challenge. Stay safe, switch off.
Ford 3000 is one of the best tractors ever made.....if they would remake it it would sell well.

The 3000 is a lovely little tractor, perhaps not quite as nice to drive as the Massey Ferguson 135, but lovely all the same!

This particular model was produced from 1964 to 1968
Sure is a lot of dirt clods, looks like plot was plowed too wet and dried in mub clods
This Lincolnshire soil is always like that, comes up with clods that won't break down easily, even a power harrow just moves them around a bit!!
