You two are blessed to have such a nice home in such a beautiful spot. Most of all, you are incredibly blessed to have each other.
Dear Jen - I can see you are holding back on laughing! Thanks God for some happy people so keep laughing. You video are natural and that make me watching them! So just keep going. Regards from Mette in Spain,
Okay guys, you gotta admit these two are such a joy!!!
The bubble wrap on the door, is a great idea, but, it'll still be a cold spot, some insulation on the void around the tube will help. Also, the tape you used to hold the flashing together, put a layer on the inside of the tube to hold the tube from sliding in too fan. And, the switch goes out, put one in that won't go bad. I'd bore a hole in the left side, over on the other side of the stud, and just wire it in to a light switch. Less hassle to turn off and on, and will be no different than say a light switch that power a garbage disposal. You'll enjoy the exhaust fan, I use mine every time I cook.
Appreciate you my friend
Love watching you 2 doing your thing whatever it is. I love Jen’s smile and her laughter. Don’t stop Jen!! Breakfast looks delicious 🤤
Thank you so much my friend
Great job guys. Jen’s sense of humor makes me chuckle. She is looking out for her man. ❤
I always hit like even before I see the video I love you guys. I love seeing when you send something new out. Jen please don't quit laughing just because of stupid haters.
Maybe cut all thread or cut the heads off long screws that are long enough to stick out of the cover holes and attach the cover with wing nuts. That makes for easy removal for working on it and cleaning the cover. If you do that, I'd suggest nylon washers between the cover and the wing nuts so it doesn't scratch the paint.
Maybe consider insulation around the shroud as well. It'll keep it quieter and no extra grease will get inside the wall. Rockwool? Great job you both did. Enjoyed it and that lap dog is awesome ❤
you guys are great no matter what youre doing
Jay love and enjoy your videos. Jay you can do anything you set your mind to. May the lord bless and protect Jay and Jen and working on the cabin.
I like Jay’s measured way of doing things which shows he is a thinker. This is obvious in his pride in a job well done when he is finished. Kudos to you for a job well done and to Jen who helps keep you going with humour (sorry, Australian spelling), and practical help. A great video.
Really appreciate it all my friend
It's always fun to hang out with you Jay and Jen. Your projects and how you approach them never fail to impress me. You both are the epitome of a can do attitude. I always enjoy Jen's comments and her laugh!! Love seeing those pups too - they are the cutest.
Thanks my friend, appreciate that
Oh guys wish you could be here in TX with sunshine and 80 degree weather. As I watch this project my ceiling fan and A/C are going. Live watching your projects!❤️❤️🐾🐾😊. Looks awesome!😍
Oh, my goodness!! Jen holding Timber is the best!
I love the shelving above the stove. ❤️
Thanks for all you both do! A stove vent is nice. So happy to see you both doing another project 🙏🙏🙏Blessings
Lots of love my friend
I remember those vent fans from the old days. They worked great. Happy you were able to successfully install it in the kitchen. I live the metal cover. Good work.
You guys are real and genuine. Enjoy your videos! And love Jens laugh!
Really Really appreciate it. Means a lot
You are the Man. A Jack Of All Trades, A Master Of None. Better Than A Master Of One.
Kriuioy
Thank you my friend
32:53 looks awesome ❤
Jen….you be you lovely lady! I LOVE your laughter…..it gives me great joy! Not sure if some old farts have said something about your laughter….but if they have….they need to lighten up and take time to smile, laugh and be happy! Btw….Love your personality too Jay! Neither of you need to change!
Nice job. Overcame a bunch of issues. As I grew up these exhaust fans were in our kitchens. They work just fine. Brought back memories.
Bless your heart... that's what I have in my house. Much better than the ones under the microwave over the stove...
I enjoy watching anything you two do. I don't think you should feel like you have to do something special. We just like to watch your day to day activities. And we really do love hearing Jen laugh.
U guys are inspiring! Appreciate and enjoy your content! 😊
Thanks my friend. Appreciate that!
Love your glasses with the birds on them
The vent fan looks great. Nice job.
GREAT job getting this installed. My FAV part was you sliding out the window to do the exterior install/fitting; Perfect execution of get er done. AND then y'all grinning at 19:50 ish! Save $ & use regular screws and paint the ends with white paint or white out/white sharpie. Cutest sous chef I ever saw.
Really appreciate you my friend. Thanks for your kindness
Absolutely love your closing music piece.
Ive never fitted a "through the wall" fan either Jay. And I would probably have gone about it exactly as you did - slowly and one step at a time, make an exploratory hole first then expand on that and see how it goes. Great fun watching you guys on this project and it ended up looking good and working perfectly. So, as Shakespeare said "All's well that ends well". Result! Best wishes from London England 🇬🇧
That's a great cold weather indoor project 👌.
Great job as always guys, the extractor fan is certainly doing the job, it matches the stove perfectly, tfs 🫶🏻 Julie 🇬🇧
Nice job Jay. Excellent supervision Jen.
Awe love his hat❤
Great job on the vent install! All it takes is to start that hole...😂😅 It never makes sense to cut a large hole into a perfectly good wall. 😊 Love what ya'll are doing 😊
The wall fans are great for pulling heat out in the summer like an attic fan.
WOW, Those Fans are still made ?? We had one in our old 1978 Camper. it still worked the day we Trashed out the Camper last Year to a Flatbed 27' Trailer.
You can always take it apart in the Summer to fancy it up. Cut back the siding for a trim board for a nice flat surface for the fan base to secure to..
Open a Window on the opposite side of the Cabin for make-up Air.
Thanks Much Guys....
Mike M. Central WI.
Ya pretty cool huh? 😁👋
Nice little fan, good job guys!
Ham and eggs, doesn't get any better! Cheers!
I like Jen laugh 🤭😉
Lots of love my friend
Jay, it looks professional! 👍
A definite improvement. Plus you won’t ever have to grease your fan! 😂
that cooking stove looks awesome
Thank you
Good job! Always adapt and overcome!
Great video guys. I installed the same fan in my new cabin. Only downfall is in extremely cold conditions the fan vent door on the outside will ice over from the heat loss in the house. After cooking for a couple minutes it'll open up. Best of luck
Beautiful, will also be nice to have in the sommer time to remove some of the heat and moisture from the house
Love watching you 2, im always cracking up. Happy you got your fan and no one had to die. Tee hee. Thank you for ALWAYS brightening our day. God bless you all. P.s. I hold my furbabies like that all the time. Hubby tells me " we are NOT having anymore kids so quit hinting." Lol
Ha.....lots of love my friend
Those are THE BEST fans... my in-laws had that kind and I wish I had it too
You did a great job on the vent!!
Thanks so much!

Woot woot. Thank you
What is the link or website for the fan that you installed in the kitchen? I have been looking for a pull chain fan like this one.
Walmart.com
Love your sou chef and hat!
you both make my day !
It's looking good
Great video. You guys crack us up.
Great job you guys, really enjoyed the video 😊
Appreciate you
When using the fan you may need to crack open a window or door for makeup air. Our house is 39 years old with plenty air leaks, but or wood stove struggles when the dryer is running our stove exhaust fan. Great work!
Good tip. Thanks
Very nice guys 😊
Great job on installing the fan! It looks great with the stove!
Looks great!! Perfect!!
Look really good.
Love watching y’all no matter what you are doing. Love you two bunches ❤❤
Thank you

👍😊

Thank you
Looks great!!
I like it, it looks really nice.
Awesome!😎🤙
Jay and Jen we will all be wearing shorts and T-shirts before you know it. Hang in there. Your breakfast made me hungry.😊
Woot woot
Looks ducky 😊
Nice job !
Looks GREAT !! Now when cooking you won't set off smoke detectors so much ! That happens hear when I forget to vent. Same bitter cold in Boston NY . I had room so I went with range hood with light and fan. You can pack fiberglass insulation around vent tube you made to help with drafts . Use what you took out maybe add some more . I have DeWalt and Ryobi tools as well. Amazon has adapter for DeWalt 20V battery to fit on Ryobi 18V tools. They are great ! I have a few . They have outher adapters for battery tools as well. Take a look and see what works for the tools you have.
Awesome, that's really cool..thank you
My parents had those duck glasses when I was a kid in the 1950's. I had forgotten about them.
Lovely video!
Looks functional all you need. Didn't hurt structure
Ya most of them were extra to start with. 😁👍
That will be a great game changer!!
I love what you guys do, but you can't always do very complicated things.
I have never done what you do and can only show respect.
Keep it up
Good job
Appreciate it. It was a lot of work!
Awesome video
Ya have to have the right tools to do the job .
