I know somewhere in the deep recesses of my brain I already knew about the swap pad functionality, but sometimes it takes seeing someone use it in a context that’s useful for me for it to kick in! Will try this today. Also rethinking my drum arrangement to pad methodology, may try the “lanes” method you suggested 🤔
I use banks B for bass, C (chops) for samples, D for drums, E (etcetera 😂) for various sound fx and random sounds for ear candy, then when I finally get all the sounds I want I copy them to bank A for the final sounds I chose then work there
Bro sticker bomb that desk. Loved the video. The pad is sequenced not the sample. I've done this on accident after reorganizing old projects not realizing there's still a pattern or two I made. I play it back and not have any recollection of where I was going.
I think in addition to that you can make a long sample with like a lot of different drum hits consequently in a single long sample and then choose not from four but from many with stard\end button, right?

man, you can also resample pattern with sample, loop this pad and go to import menu. So you can hear you sample and pick perfect drums 🤙

There is a lot of shortcuts on the MK2, sometimes you need that reminder! I forget about them myself from time to time 😂

You can do that too yeah. That’s useful on the sx/a where importing stuff isn’t as easy. It works for the mk2 as well if you wanted to work that way 👍
