This video shows off all the rides & roller coasters that can be found at sea world san diego (manta, electric eel, emperor, tidal twister, shipwreck rapids) as well as the shows offered at the park (orca encounter, dolphin days, sea lion live) and the many animals that can be seen (walrus, penguins, killer whales, otters, sharks).

I feel like SeaWorld San Diego is one of the more underrated California parks. It's ride selection is honestly perfect for a park of its' size and its got some beautiful animal exhibits.

Looks like many 4D theaters and motion simulators in US theme parks are endangered. They need more love.
SeaWorld San Diego is the only zoo/aquarium in the entire western hemisphere with Emperor Penguins, that alone has makes it worth a visit imo(so many must see zoos in california, i'll get there eventually!)
Never really seen much on this park, it always seems to get glossed over. But it looks pretty fun!

Given that you are really into theming, what do you think of the Emperor as the chosen theme for the dive coaster? I always thought it was an odd choice since the Penguin Encounter is not anywhere near the roller coaster. It would make more sense if Emperor was next to the Penguin Encounter. Perhaps a mythical sea creature would be a better fit next to Journey to Atlantis. Overall, I am not the biggest fan of the chosen location for Emperor as it ruins the thematic integrity of Wild Arctic since guests can see Emperor from the beluga exhibit, ruining the illusion that guests traveled to the North Pole.
My thought is if you aren’t going to theme a ride at all (like in this case) I am not too concerned with the name/theme
Nice to see that they let you tape yourself on the roller coaster rides. Did you use a GoPro? What did you use for a harness (stick, chesty, head strap)? Thanks for the video.
Some was chest mount GoPro and some was wrist mount GoPro
@@IntheLoopPodcast Thanks for the response. I was wondering what mount to use. I tried a selfie stick on a roller coaster ride that turned out pretty well but I think I will prefer hands-free after trying it.
Small correction: SeaWorld San Diego has Macaroni Penguins, not Rockhoppers :).

You can buy them at the gate, but they will be cheaper online. No dated reservations like Disneyland has
The height limitation is because of the San Diego Airport airspace. FAA requirement
