I almost started crying watching because I was imagining how the Doctor must feel like after all these life times losing people who were dear to her. If a human with a normal life span loses people that can be quite a burden so seeing the Doctor still going and trying to protect what is important to her shows how strong she really is. Ps: The line "I´ve lived longer, seen more. loved more and lost more" reminds me of the speech the Doctor gave in the episode "The rings of Akhaten". The 13th Doctor already reminded me of the 11th Doctor (my favorite one) but this line made me like this incarnation even more. :)
Even if a human loses one person that they truly cared for in their lifetime they carry that lost with them forever. I've showed 15 people in that little fast montage at the end. 15 people that we all got to know. (and that's only in New Who) 15 people how are no longer around. And that's not counting all the people who never got the chance to travel with the doctor because they died too soon. Or just people that we got to know along the way. They all still mattered. And you could see that in Capaldi's Doctor, he was just so tired of losing people, of living, of always having to win even. Jodie's Doctor keeps pushing through it. She's trying to see the beauty and wonder in the universe again. Hope is what she gives us and hope is that she needs.
I completely agree but she needs to get better stories and writing behind her. She had some great episodes and moments but she needs more consistency. If so she could be one of the best. Jodie is amazing

It’s beautiful and I think it actually shows the depth of the doctor’s character more than the show itself does at the moment! Brilliant edit. Love the song as well- it goes really well with her.
