Inspiration struck and it struck hard. The lyrics just seemed to go so well with events in series 12, and I love the Thirteenth Doctor so much I just had to make something of it. And that something ended up being an entire video!
I learnt how to create sound effects in Audacity thanks to this project, as well as had a fun ol' time playing around with HitFilm.
So, really hope you all enjoy this! Took a lot of hours and multiple headaches from staring at the screen far too long, but I think it was worth it :D

I love how you depicted how the doctor would go to the TARDIS for therapy as the TARDIS is their oldest companion

this hits differently once you connect it with the 12th doctors speech about kindness before he regenerated. almost like she's questioning why she still feels sad despite trying to keep Capaldi's promise.
I literally waited a year and a half to watch this since I hadn't seen Timeless Children yet, and let me just say it was worth every second. It makes me so happy to see a Doctor Who animatic, because there are surprisingly very few.
I held it together then you had to go and throw in the previous doctors. This was so good, the lyrics paired with the animation very well. The addition of the TARDIS taking to Thirteen took advantage of the lyrical style and was very creative as well. This was very impressive and definitely had hours of hard work and a piece of your heart as well! Thank you for sharing this! ❤️🤟❤️

This is what I wanted from the ending of Timeless Children, the animation is beautiful and I like the idea of the 13th Doctor having a breakdown behind TARDIS’ doors about the Timeless Child revelation. The first time I watched this, I broke. My favourite moment is the text from Yaz as The Doctor stands in the TARDIS... unsure of what to do. You utilised the lyrics perfect, I like to imagine that the lyrics are The Doctor talking time herself. Beautiful work, thank you for making this!

From the Lonely God to the Lonely Goddess. The 13th Doctor may try to keep a chipper attitude but deep down they're the same broken person with the universe on their shoulders. And with the revelation of their entire history being a lie it makes you wonder how much more they can possibly take.
Hhhh I love AJR and this was so well done 😭😭 seriously, the “keep you in my pocket” line was so clever and good and hhhh love me some 13 angst

Watched it again and this video feels like a hand wrapped around my open heart and is squeezing every drop of sadness and loss out of me like like a snake. It destroys me in the best way.

@@AngelBlessCreates When I feel a deep connection to a fictional character, a part of me can feel the pain. I know that is incredibly stupid, but I was crushed by this. I wanted to grab her and cry and tell her it was going to be okay. She doesn't deserve this. All of her lives, This should never have Happened to the Doctor. All she's lost.
This is exactly what should have happened after the tc reveal- the doctor having a breakdown in the tardis- she has tried so hard only for it to all fall apart
OMG this is amazing! I love everything about this, the song choice, the animations, the way it perfectly captures the mood of thirteen by the end of series 12. It's beautiful!

FANTASTIC ANIMATIC!!! I personally, am not the biggest fan of Jodie’s Doctor and I absolutely *HATE* everything about The Timeless Child because of what it does to the Doctor and the entire show’s history but this animatic is just so lovely to watch and the art style and design of 13 is just fantastic! Fan art of the 13th Doctor is just adorable which makes me like 13 just a bit more and makes me wish we had something more like that in the actual show. There are hardly any Doctor Who animatics or animations (other then the Missing Episode Animations) but when I do find them, they always look fantastic and this one is definitely my favourite! Keep up the fantastic work!

AngelBless Everyone has their own opinions. Series 11 & 12 haven’t been my kind of thing (Demons of the Punjab and Nikola Tesla’s Night Of Terrors were great episodes though) but I can understand why others would enjoy it. I’m a massive Classic Who fan which is why I have such resentment for The Timeless Child (especially the whole Hartnell not being the 1st Doctor) but if Modern Who was the only Who then maybe I would like it more. Jodie’s a fantastic actress and I’m sure she could pull it off, it’s just her direction has been a bit generic and not subtle in any way but who knows what’ll happen in Series 13 for the 13th Doctor. I’m sure Jodie’s best is still yet to come. Besides, my personal favourite Doctor is No. 2, Patrick Troughton and his Era is in Black And White and 50% Missing so it just depends on who YOU really love

Man, the buildup with all the history of her former regenerations behind her and then when "The universe works in mysterious ways" hits it HITS

An animation made for fans of the 13th Doctor/Chibnall's era (few of us though there may be) it turns out that I'm only interested in the exceptionally rare
I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS from the fact that confirms to me but I'm not the only person who unconditionally likes series 11 and 12 to the song being an absolute banger to the *GORGEOUS* animation and art style and special mention has to go to the fact that she's actually talking with the TARDIS throughout the entire song just YES TO ALL :-D

I love the way you've....portrayed? the TARDIS and drawn it and had its sound effects. ...the dynamic way the Doctor goes back and forth and back and forth between turmoil and pulling herself together
but the lyrics you have chosen the PERFECT song and the facial expressions and like - movements - are so so so good. what amazing dramatic pacing!!!

The the references to 'doctor' in the song were just so perfect to go along with her questioning herself and the words of her previous incarnation. I couldn't have asked for a better song really! :D

Anyone else notice in the credits the little panel where the Doctor saw her reflection was broken? Great video on all accounts. The art style was lovely - I personally love how you designed 13, I dunno, I just get a kick out of how beautifully people draw her - and all of the other subtle details that others have noted like the TARDIS "talking" to the Doctor was splendid.

I've had my share of complaints with Chibnall's Era, but I have nothing bad to say of this animatic. I can see the love put into it, and it made me feel far more for this storyline than the show did. Beautiful work from start to end
Watching this in the dead of night and almost crying. This is amazing, heartbreaking, fantastic and all too surreal at the same time. Good job with the entire thing. I especially love(what I assume is) the vague reference to Time Lord Victorious feelings that they could do whatever they wanted in the brief scene where she contemplates following the masters line of thinking but quickly discourages herself. Beautifully done. 1000 points to you.
Amazing, but are people noticing how the Master had the TCE to symbolize keeping O in his pocket when the song sang "I wish I could keep you in my pocket."
A couple of people have! :D Really love when it gets picked up on; a completely innocuous phrase reminding her of someone she doesn't want to become. So glad that line was in the song 🌟

I loved this animatic. It made me think about how I miss 13 so much, and I literally just finished binging her for the first time. I wish she had more episodes, more stories, better storylines (although I enjoyed everything she did have just fine). I can’t wait for her to get a big finish series.

As someone who thinks that the thirteen doctor episodes have been bad or horrible. This is absolutely fantastic and in my opinion shows the best of this regeneration of the Doctor and I can only hope maybe in like some big finish audio dramas or something she can get some better wrighters. Either way amazing video 10/10
